Jonathan will need to work hard to earn that Zetterberg like hero status.
It's all good, I can settle for a Hornqvist or Arvidsson.

Further to my post in Canuck news yesterday, I guess we can officially call Jasek a young gun, with a goal and 2 assists for Utica today!

The canucks would be wise to invest in weight gain/muscle mass technology for their skinnies.
Imagine if we could thicken up the toothpicks of the future...

The technology is well-established and the NHL anti-doping program appears weak.
The problem -- or at least, one of the problems -- is that the Canucks would mostly be looking at bulking up players as a strategy to increase their injury resistance, but the existing bulk-accelerating technology would actually increase their chance of injury. The slower (legal) methods would be more effective in that regard, but they're...well, slower.
I am interested to see whether the training and nutritional advances alluded to by DHA will make it possible to put 10 pounds of lean muscle mass on young Pettersson thos off season.

Yeah there sure are a lot of guys with chicken bones on the current team and in the pipeline. Must make a guy like Dude with his scrawny chicken thighs very happy.

Filip forsbeg when drafted 6-1, 176lbs. Now is 6-1 205lbs. William Nylander when drafted - 5-11, 175 lbs now is 6'-0, 191lbs, just an example, but hey you guys rock out on the sizes of teenagers in the mean time like it's forever

Nothing profound here...drove from williams lake to penticton today... couple cars were in the ditch up the hill way south of hundred mile. So now, here , in pen, with my honey and two bottles of wine, and a few dubes later, i wonder, which defenseman Mr. JB is gonna choose for the next draft??? But hey, have the ole Who' playing on the headphones (teen-age wasteland) and followed up with- 'year of the cat' LOL (and good ipa). So here's the poll:
Adam Boqvist
Evan Bouchard
Quinn Hughes
Noah Dobson
Ty Smith
According to this other site, here's the order of defensemen that canuck fans prefer in a poll. Gimme shelter is playing now! Time for a puff for sure. Good night my brothers (and sister) in the Corner.

A goal by Dahlén tonight as Timrå beat Karlskrona 3-1 on the road.
That's his fifth point in five games.
Karlskrona leads the relegation series 3-2.
Thanks Per! Dahlen was the most exciting prospect in the Canucks system prior to Peterssen's arrival, I feel like he might be more ready to step into the NHL than Peterssen, with an extra year of experience and an extra 15 lbs.
I'm all over the map, regarding Boqvist, Hughes, Bouchard, Dobson and Smith, the more scouting reports I read on them the more confused I get. But, it's becoming clear that we are getting one of those 5. My order now is
1. Boqvist
2. Bouchard
3. Dobson
4. Smith
5. Hughes
I just can't get past Hughes puny height and weight and his struggles 5 on 5 at the worlds against better opponents and the benching he would get regularly, by the coach at the tourney. He only seemed affective in the mean nothing games against lesser opponents and on the PP. If there was designated player rule like in the American League of Baseball, then yeah, draft Hughes.
