I referenced the Canucks draft in 2016. Please provide proof where Dahlen was a Canucks draft pick in 2016.
While you pick Jimbro Benning apart for not acquiring more picks than the 29 picks he has drafted with in 4 drafts (7 picks per draft), maybe while you are on that, bring up positive things like - acquiring 2016 Draft Alumn - Jonathon Dahlen (31st on Buttons list) etc. Sprinkle some of the good, you try so hard to avoid, in with your constant driveling once in a blue moon, jabrone.
You keep writing the book on Lockwood and juolevi but you talk like the 2nd and 4th given up for Gudbranson are GUARANTEED impact NHL'ers. You'll call Virtanen a bust but somehow Chicken Bones and the Always injured McCann (6 goals 9 assists) is Stalwart. You also avoid bringing up the 5th we got back in the same Gudbranson trade but you'll constantly flip out over the 5th given up for Prust, along with the Cokehead (whom GIllis traded our 10th overall pick for) Erik Karlsson was still on board when Gillis selected the Silver Spooned Stumpy.

Was Dahlen a draft pick by Vancouver in 2016 ?
No but he is a 2016 Draft alumn like Juolevi and Lookwood whom we acquired in the Burrows TDL move. Same diff. Hey when bitching and moaning about not acquiring more picks and prospects refer to the Burrows, Lack, Garrison, Bieksa, Hansen trades. The 5th we got with Gudbranson, the 3rd with Sutter, the 1st and 3rd with Bonino and Sbisa etc. That may make you feel better
I was referring to Lenny Small’s draft picks in 2016. Over and over I’ve said this yet you keep bringing up shit that is irrelevant and trying to drag yet another thread into the ditch. Please stop doing this

It’s impossible to debate when people constantly change subjects, don’t address points and make it rain red herrings. It’s fun and all but it’s probably unreadable for most of the rest of the people on here.
The way I see it... YOU... tried to change subjects.
Dude was merrily talking about Canuck Young Guns in general
... and YOU suddenly insisted he talk about the players GMJB drafted in 2016.
(and not Canuck Young Guns who were drafted in 2016... only the players GMJB drafted in 2016)
Then you got upset when he "didn't address your point".
(your "point" being something about Lockwood being frail and not drafting 160 lb Ty Ronning in the 7th round??)
Ya knoooow... someone isn't "making it rain red herrings" when they decide not to follow you down some sketchy path.
Yeah no. I REFERENCED THE 2016 DRAFT. I SAID OTHER THAN JUOLEVI who has been underwhelming, we have Lockwood to show for it. He then kept bringing up Dahlen who was acquired in a trade.
As usual you have nothing to add other than to troll

And you too dear friend, slam bang Juolevi and Lockwood as busted and broke, never to be seen in the NHL, all the while spreading the love for the likes of Strome and Vilardi and Asplund like theys Sure Things. Agenda much?
Whether you like it or not - Craig Button's 31st ranked NHL prospect - Dahlen is a 2016 Draft Alumni. BTW, Juolevi is 24th on that list. Canuck super prospect - Pettersson is the best NHL affiliated prospect in the world!
Ok window licker. Time to move on. You purposely drove yet another thread into the shitter. And your mod/troll friend had to come in and spew his diarrhea.
Back on track. What an absolute crater of young d men in the pipeline. Can’t see the Russian returning and he’s 24 at this point so he ain’t really a young gun after this year. Hutton, Pouliot and Stecher are all 6/7 guys at best right now. Chatfield and Brisebois aren’t exactly ripping up the AHL. Brassard seems to be having a decent year as 20 year old in the OHL. I hope the team has a look at Aaron Irving who is almost ppg in the ECHL and to me looked like a better prospect in Penticton than Chatfield , Cederholm or Stewart.
“I don’t care what you and some other poster were talking about”
Players available from 33rd pick overall in the 2016 Draft who are on Craig Button's Top NHL Prospect list
Asplund - picked 33rd (39th on Buttons list)
Kyrou - picked 35th (ranked 15th on Buttons list)
Dahlen - picked 42nd (31st on Buttons list)
Katchouk - picked 44th (ranked 40th on Buttons list)
Clague - picked 51st (ranked 48 on Buttons list)
Dube - picked 56th (ranked 38th on Buttons list)
Raddysh - picked 58th (ranked 45th on Buttons list)
Fox - picked 66th (ranked 36th on Buttons list)
Of the available current NHL affiliated prospects from the 33rd pick on, Dahlen gets the 2nd highest ranking after Kyrou. After trading the 33rd pick in the Gudbranson trade, Jimbro made up BIGLY TIME with the Dahlen haul! I guess you could bitch and moan about not getting Kyrou?

Pretty much exactly what I said.
Like I said... YOU... tried to change the subject to "players drafted by GMJB in 2016".
And then you got upset when he wouldn't oblige you (oddly accusing him of "changing the subject" !)

Tryamkin turns 24 August 30th (6 months from now), 8 months older than Bo Horvat (is Bo Horvat old?). He will be at the great young age of 25 when he returns to the team with a decade of excellent hockey in front of him and in the same age bracket of the next core group of this team.
Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2018 3:33 pm
Never should have had to add 33 to Mcann and a 4th for a player of Gudbransons caliber.
So they could have had two of those guys instead of one.
See.... math is fun
Remember you bitching about the 5th tossed in with the Cokehead for Prust? We got a 5th round pick back in the Gudbranson trade. If you are that sticky about 5ths,then do not forget to mention the 5th round prick returned in the Gudbranson trade
Chicken Bones - McCann, the oft injured, will only amount to hill of beans, trust me on this.

He’s 24 this year and was disgusted with management wanting him to play like Pronger and for not giving him fuck all for playing time. He doesnt have an out in his contract for at least another year.
