About the only thing he couldn't do was score in the shootout. Great game, but again the Finns show up and disappoint.

This game he did get the minutes he deserves. Still question those unreliable 20 minute stats in the other games though.
Really, really too bad the damn game had to fall on his continuing the shoot-out.
#2 got WAY! too much ice time in this tourney. Makes a lot of bad decisions.
That would be Heiskanen, coaches pet.

If he had his best game when it mattered most, that's an excellent sign.

Absolutely. It’s too bad he didn’t get another game or two to strut his stuff. I thought he looked decent against Canada but pretty damn good the last two games. I think people just want to see a bit more ooomph in his play and he provided that the last two games. Good on him considering what the top 15 of his draft class has done/been doing

Not sure of the role he was asked to do but from what I saw of him (not today's game) he looked solid, confident and appeared to be taking a defense first role allowing his partner to play more offense. Sounds like the reins were loosened today.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

But Hdub, he doesn't do the Bobby Orr spinorama, and because of that he sucks!

This is popularity deal . Sweden omitted Petersson as one of their top 3. Sounds like Olli had a good tourney. I saw him play twice where he was ok once and very good the other game. Considering what the players selected right after him have done its high time. They need a 2/3 d man outbid this kid

Too bad Sweden's 3rd period penalties curtailed Pettersson's ice time. Had hoped to see him play near heroics. I think he proved himself as a serious prospect moving forward in the Canucks organization.

Felt bad for Petterson and the Swedes, would have liked to seen them win. Man, totally know how they felt, brought back feelings of 2011.

Yeah some of the swedes were too gung-ho and the refs had it out for em....like they had Burrows on their team or something.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Peterson showed off his world class diving ability. Gadovitch got benched. His replacement scored the game winner.

I thought the Swedes acted a bit like babies after the game.
