Boy are you in for a disappointment. Matthews and Marner are teens and are at a 70 point pace as rookies.

All this obsessing over a D-Man. Where are you guys going to get your #1 C? Surely you know you're going nowhere without without one. Matthews surely is that franchise changing stud # 1 C.

And why are you continuously using the Oilers bad trades for the market for all 30 teams? Reinhart should have never cost that much. His stock had already fallen terribly prior to the trade. He can't skate. He won't even be a good top 4 D-Man.

How come it cost Calgary less to get a better D-Man in Hamilton than both Reinhart and Larsson?

And who do you have that's better than Andersen?

Speaking of free don't forget that your "solid top 4" free "rookie" Zaitsev

... could end up walking as a Group 6 unrestricted free agent this summer.

Guess you haven't heard... Hamilton has a few screws loose (very strange dude... allegedly).

Not a leader, not a team player, not a guy who is easy to get along with in the room.

Doesn't use his size, can't fight, won't stick up for teammates.

Puts up points though.

Andersen is not a proven NHL Number One (he was a "gamble" remember?).

Demko is not an NHL Number One... but he has an Elite NHL Number One ceiling.

Demko will start winning Vezinas not long before mediocre Andersen hangs em up.

No "goaltender of the future" for the sad-sack Maple Leaves though.

Leaves and Canucks are both rebuilding right....

Guess you haven't noticed how Boston leaks terrible things to the media every time they trade an elite young player. Hamilton is a stud.

The leaves goaltender of the future is Joseph Woll. Andersen is only 27. He has a .922 save % and has 21 wins, 10 losses. That's mediocre?

If you can predict the future of goalies you are a genius. They are the hardest to judge by far.

BigTuneOut has an X-Files conspiracy theory for everything. Hey Tuna, trust the hockey world, Hamilton is a clown.

As time moves on from your infatuation with 24 year old Leaf rookies like Hyman and 25 year old rookies like Zaitsev, time will prove that the leaves big 3 Matthews, Marner and Nylander will not be vastly superior than that of Horvat, Boeser and Virtanen. Horvat has 32 points, Matthews has 39 points, whoopdie doo! Not saying that Horvat is on the level as Matthews but the kid is a stud centre. Just wait til Boeser gets here ya twat! And trust me, Babcock will run Nylander out of town, he can't stand him.

Can you just for once admit like a real man that our future on the back end and in goalie is vastly superior than the leaves? The two hardest positions to build. The Canucks are already done building in that department. Forwards are easy to acquire.

Hyman and Baertshi 24 years old
Brown and Granlund 23 Years old
Stecher and Tryamking and Hutton - 22 years old - Zaitsev 25 years old (Juolevi 18 years old, Brisebios 19 years old, Gudbranson 24 years old , Tanev 26 years old, Edler 30, Sbisa 25.

leaves farm team coach regarding Toronto's best D prospects - "They are yeeeeeeaaaarrrrs away"

Lou Lamoriello "we are desperate for top 4 defenseman"

Lou Lamoriello "the price is too high for top 4 defenseman" What a pickle the leaves are in. BUT NOT THE CANUCKS! Our D is set for the next 10 years!!!!

LMAO of Woll! Puleeeeeeeeaaaaaassssssse. He couldn't hold a jock strap to Demko! LOL

Small sample size, look at his entire NHL history.

He hasn't ever really been a number one...

Well 2 seasons ago you could say he was on that kind of pace... but he dropped the ball in late January.

You can't really say anything for sure about Andersen until at least the end of this season.

He will likely drop the ball again soon IMESHO.

Small sample size? You're telling me about a prospect of yours who hasn't played in the NHL yet and how great he will be.
Andersen has a career .920 save% Not such a small sample size.

You're so delusional. Matthews has 39 points in half a season as a rookie. He's 1 point from Horvat's career high in a full season,
Matthews is a franchise #1 C you build your team around. Horvat just isn't in the same league. He's not a #1 C.

Tuna hasn't experienced the classic Andersson Playoff Choke like we saw oh so many times with the Mighty Ducks. The only reason why I want the leaves to make the playoffs.

YYYYeah, K

Whatever blows your hair back TunaMelt. Not denying Matthews talent, but trust me when Boeser and Virtanen arrive, the trio of Horvat, Boeser and Virtanen will not be all to inferior to the Auston "Julio" Matthews, Marner the mouse (one hit away from destruction) and Nylander the Arrogance trio. When after that has set in with you, think about how farrrrrrrrr superior the future and present of Canucks Defence and Goaltending is compared to the lowly leaves future and present.

leaves Farm Coach "the leaves top D Prospects are yeeeeeaaaars away!"

Lou Lamoriello "We are desperate for help in top 4 D-men, but the price is too high"

Gaunce, Rodin, Lockwood, Baertschi, Granlund, Cassels, Labate, Audette, Juolevi, Brisebios, McEney, Tryamkin can go toe to toe with any of the other garbage Leaf prospects you keep making love to.

Actually, Horvat is in the same league. The NHL. He most likely will be a #1 center. Very likely a captain.
Different route but, IMO, just as valuable to his team.
This is me being nice.
Want to hear me being nasty? Keep insulting Horvat.
