No they didn't. They clearly regressed from the year prior. They were not even in a playoff spot till Christmas. The Ducks are a very slow team. They went as far as they could. You're clinging to this playoff argument because you know Andersen is playing very well and has very good statistics.
The fact is, Anaheim does have money issues and are not a cap max team. They went with the cheaper alternative and it's not working out thus far.
