No they didn't. They clearly regressed from the year prior. They were not even in a playoff spot till Christmas. The Ducks are a very slow team. They went as far as they could. And to point out, Andersen posted a .947 save % in 5 games in the 2016' playoffs. That's horrible?

You're clinging to this playoff argument because you know Andersen is playing very well and has very good statistics.

The fact is, Anaheim does have money issues and are not a cap max team. They went with the cheaper alternative and it's not working out thus far.

Freddy Andersen has a CAREER .917 save %. That's terrific. And you're saying he's no good? Did you only pay attention during the first 2 weeks and then doze off? He's been playing great since then. Big, mobile goalie.
I'll betcha anyone (Hear we go again) he matches his .919 save % from last season this season. His stats are rising fast.

Even if that's true, were they right? John Gibson is not as good as Freddy Andersen. They saved over 2 million by choosing Gibson. It was clearly a money decision. Were they right in firing Boudreau and bringing in Carlyle? There's a lot of odd decisions occurring in Anaheim lately. Not the go to organization for the truth.

Be prepared to see more of that terribleness with Andersen, Tuna. but goaltending is only part of the problem there. That Defence fucking sucks balls

Since the Laughs basically sucked the past decade or 2 they should be better for prospects than the Canucks. But prospects means nothing except wins and going far in the playoffs. Once that happens then come back and talk, until then the Luaghs suck...

You have not been following Freddy Andersen, have you? After a rough first two weeks he's looked great. His save % is .911 and counting. He's 26. How is the future for goaltending awful?

ANSWER: Because Andersen is 27 and his save% is .911

So tell me why Andersen is a bad goalie. You're going to have to explain this. Why is a 26 year-old who shared the Jennings trophy and posted a .919 save % last season and is red hot now and has his numbers climbing not a good goalie? He also is the second biggest goalie behind Bishop, and I do think that's gives him an advantage over a shrimp like Bernier.

Well he's 27 and the Jennings Trophy is a team award (least total goals-against = won't be happening in TO).

And NOW he's being paid #1 goalie money and hasn't proven he can handle a #1 goalie workload.

As for size, well my good buddy Mëds is 6'11" and 280lbs.

The leaves have 22 year-old Rielly, 25 year-old Zaitsev, 26 year-old Gardiner and 19 year-olds in the AHL like Neilson and Dermot looking great.

Rielly might make a decent #2 eventually if the Leaves ever had a #1 (they won't ever).

Zaitsev and Gardiner have #4 ceilings.

Nielsen(20) and Dermott are HORRIBLE who the fuck are you kidding.

And not a single one of the above 5 defensemen play any DEFENSE whatsoever...

They also have the best depth of forward prospects (Leipsic and Kapanen can't even get a sniff, on any other team they would) to trade for D help.

If you honestly believe every other team in the league would immediately insert those 2 shrimps into their lineup
