Are you saying Vancouver's ivory snow will cleanse the ebony tar from his attitude or is there too much wind blown slanting rain for that sunlight?
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

Ducks acquire G Jonathan Bernier from Maple leaves for draft pick
The Anaheim Ducks have acquired goalie Jonathan Bernier from Toronto in exchange for a conditional draft pick in 2017
On June 23, 2013, Bernier was traded to the Toronto Maple leaves in exchange for forward Matt Frattin, goaltender Ben Scrivens and a second-round draft pick in either 2014 or 2015

Some saying this was part of the Andersson trade but the Ducks wanted it structured this way to avoid the 2 M bonus due Bernier July 1st. In that context the deal makes more sense from the Ducks perspective.
The only HW the Canucks need

Yeah, it's like what I said last night about the possibility of trading Markstrombone in the summer of 2019Hockey Widow wrote: Some saying this was part of the Andersson trade but the Ducks wanted it structured this way to avoid the 2 M bonus due Bernier July 1st. (after the July 1 bonus money, he would come with only $1.67M due in real money).
We all know that the Ducks have an internal budget, so Bernier @ $2.15M real dollars looks good to them.
Bernier is going to look a lot better behind that Duck defense than that mess in TO.
(wonder how Andersen is going to look going the other way)

But I suppose at $2.15M for only one year, he might be worth a look for 15-20 games.
Will Bernier become a career backup now?
He's been through that mill at the centre of the universe... hard to say how he might come out.

That 2nd round pick ended up being 34th O/A in 2015 (which TO reacquired for 29 O/A + 68 O/A).Jovocop wrote:Ouch.![]()

Hopefully Andersen is the next goalie to be crushed by the pressure at the centre of the universe.

This could be Horvat's next contract, if Bo steps up his game next season. -
Mark Scheifele to a 8-year contract, 6.125 AAV
