TOR gets Kerby Rychel from CBJ for Scott Harrington and a conditional pick.
11:08 AM - 25 Jun 2016

The conditional pick is if Columbus puts Harrington on waivers and he gets claimed the leaves surrender a 5th next year.
This makes little sense unless Columbus utterly lost faith in Rychel. He would have been a player I wished Benning had snagged.
Love the Sport. Love the Team.

Hate the League.

Apparently Rychel's stock is falling fast. Looking to be a first round bust or there are doubts about him being effective at the NHL level

Rychel looking like the next Steve Bernier but with better passing skill.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Totally different players, but Rychel's attitude + Dad are said to be identical to that of Cody Hodgson.

Harrington was clearly the best of the Leaves' young bunch of young dee early last season

... but he got sent down anyway, because he was the only one not requiring waivers.

Meanwhile Corrado sat in the pressbox. :)

(Harrington got injured with the Marlies and sat out most of the season)

Did he really do enough to earn that contract?? Pacioretti shold be pissed at either the contract he got, or what they offered Shaw. Similar contracts, not even close as players.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

No, just lucky that there were players who went by names Toews, Kane, Keith, Sharp, Seabrook, Hossa on his team.

Patches signed that contract four seasons ago. By that rationale Jannik Hansen should be livid about the fact Derek Dorsett is making more money than him. It's called inflation. Although in the case of the Dorsett deal it's just a bad contract.
