Re: What We've Got (Looking Ahead With Current Contracts)
FFS, if he is top six or middle six he is a second line centre. We don't know if Rossi will extend with us past this year. I still think the Alien will return!!!!! I think Rossi is signed for 2 more yrs, then RFA, so he is under team control. I think the best place for EP40 would be a place like ...

Re: What We've Got (Looking Ahead With Current Contracts)
Chytil ($4.4M x 1 year): Lemon. No future with the Canucks beyond this season imho, and hopefully realizes he needs to retire. Best case scenario for both him and the team is LTIR all season. Hoglander ($3M x 2 years): Could still become a 3rd line winger, though unlikely. I thought about buying ...

Re: Draft Lottery Destiny
I would expect the old fart to pick Malhotra regardless as a way to entice his Dad to stick around. C.Malhotra is starting to grow on me. I thought he was just a 2-way guy like his old man and maybe a bit more skilled, but one of the Nuck Army Nerds is saying his playmaking is top notch, always a ...

Re: Past Canuck Players
Lots of guys say it, but few have the nerves that can step up in the high stakes, high pressure games of the playoffs.
- King ArtursI love when there's so much stake on it... they're hating us, they're booing us. It's so much fun to play... there's more to build.

Re: Who do we draft? (Poll)
I don't want to jinx anything, so I won't submit the poll; however, I already chatted about who I would like, so... I think getting G.McKenna would be great. Maybe he won't be elite like a Kucherov/Patty Kane, but if he can become a T.Hall or K.Conner, I think that's still pretty good. If not ...

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 25-26
I know alot of fans want Foote Job gone, I introduce to u his replacement. :P Nucks mgmt & ownership luv to hire the ladies in important roles, why not be the first to hire a female NHL Head Coach? She can "motivate" players like no other dood Head Coach can. What happens in the locker room, stays ...

Re: Past Canuck Players
The worst thing that happened was us winning the Pacific. It allowed them to think they were close. Maybe they were close. If only JT & Petey could actually get along like Gretz/Mess, Sakic/Forsberg, Yzerman/Fedorov, Crosby/Malkin.... then maybe, just maybe. A few factors did kinda fuq them though ...

Yah, his future looks bright though. He only steps up in big games, doesn't matter if it for Latvia, Nucks, Abby or Pitts*.Megaterio Llamas wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2026 7:55 pm A long one got Arty tonight. Brilliant otherwise, though.
He should get a nice raise in the offseason.

Re: Who Do U Want to See as Next GM of the Nucks?
One thing that has been mentioned is that he has convinced owners a rebuild is needed. So having him hang around as that buffer may help the new gm to stick to the rebuild as planned. It maybe in our best interest for one more year. I know this is a longshot and highly unlikely, but one guy who ...

Re: 2025-26 OOTS: Playoffs Edition
He's suffered a pretty significant decline since his time in Van already (if anyone recalls he was maybe our best forward in the playoffs). That must be disturbing for the Bruins I'd argue Lindholm was showing a numbers decline even in Calgary. After he turned down that rumoured massive $9M per ...

Re: Who Do U Want to See as Next GM of the Nucks?
Why is Rutherford hanging around again? I'm tryimng to figure that out in light of this newsw. Yah. I heard a Nuck Army nerd say that u ideally need a guy (POHO) to buffer/insulate the GM from ownership and I think he's right. I do like JR and hope he sticks around to be that buffer, but @ his age ...

Re: Who Do U Want to See as Next GM of the Nucks?
I'm hearing that Mr Aquilini will be making the call, not Rutherford. As much as I don't teust Rutherford, this is bad news, if true. Yah, it makes sense though. Aqua-man writes the cheques and it sounds like JR intends to ease out of his role/job. Whoever they bring on will have to have a good ...

Re: Ownership and Management (These fuckin' guys™)
Moving Silovs before Demko shows he can play for a sustained period? Questionable, and super dumb that you gave yourself limited options by signing Lankinen. Agreed. As much as I liked King Arturs, not sure he would have done very well in front of our team and D-core this past season. He would have ...

Yah, surprised they didn't give King Arturs game #3, prob too late now.
