Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

It may go a little deeper than Bending just being a puppet. In the end he failed to back Linden. Linden wanted a slower approach, a 5 year plan, to rebuild with patience through the draft. Benning did the yes man thing to the Aquas and left Linden out to dry. I would agree with this. It too bad, I ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Vigneault was an 8 or better. What separated AV from these guys is that AV built systems around players, not forcing players into systems. AV's first team with the Canucks played nothing like his 5th team, and that's because personnel rolled over and he adjusted. I remember when MG came on, I ...

I'll be surprised if he sticks up here, but no harm in giving him a shot. I thought he had some decent moments when he was last here, so we'll see.

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 25-26

Roslovic “apparent” contract demands - 3 year - $4 million per year. That’s a steep price on a centre version of Mason Raymond. The longer he remains unsigned, the greater it may work in our favour. He might need to settle for a P.Suter/Lankinen type deal when we got first them. A short prove it dea ...

It's nice to get a female perspective. At first, I thought the doods were guilty for sure and a bit surprised how it all played out. At the end of the day, I trust the judge's verdict as it was from a lady as well.

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 25-26

Lol McLeod is I think a center, but more of a fourth liner if memory serves. I think his brother is a better player than he is. Not sure when these guys would be cleared to play, but I wouldn't mind Mike McLeod. Yah, he prob more of a bottom 6 guy, but he's a RS centre and a faceoff ace. I thought ...

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

Nucks should just pay the price and get Mason McTavish. He almost seems like a potential JT Miller type player (body type/skillset).

Starting offer with the core pieces of:

Lekkerimaki & 1st rounder
for
M.McTavish

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

It makes sense. You don't trade a high upside goalie prospect to a divisional rival. Geez, imagine if they had done that. Yah, glad we didn't trade King Arturs to the Oil. The only way I'd give them Silovs is if they're willing to pay a king's ransom. It would have to look something like: 1st ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Silovs traded to Pittsburgh for a 2027 4th rd pick and a career minor leaguer named Chase Stillman, brother of former Canuck - Riley Stillman. I always liked King Arturs, too bad we couldn't keep him. We all saw the writing on the wall though, JR even said as much. They even drafted a new Russian ...

Re: 2025 Canucks Off-season

Jack Roslovic still farting around out there unsigned. Maybe the Nucks can make a move and snag him on the cheap, kinda like when we first signed PS24 on a team friendly deal and when we snagged Blankinen. Sure, he's not exactly a bona-fide top tier 2C, but he's a decent middle 6 and should give us ...

Re: 2025 Canucks Off-season

Speaking of the resigning of the 3 Americans to deals that extend beyond Hughes current contract, I'm surprised none of the media asked any of them if they had talked to Quinn about his long term plans to stay or leave... Poor Quinn, if Garland was 24/7 trying to pursuade Brock to resign I can't ...

Re: 2025 Canucks Off-season

Some interesting tidbits, Dhaliwal reporting: - Nucks wanted C.Dvorak, he passed. - Nucks wanted Mikael Granlund, he passed. We would have had a Sea of Granlunds again. :P - Brock had 5 offers on the table for him. He waited out the Nucks and got his 7 yrs. - Nucks trying to move DJ81 & TB53 to open ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

I have a soft spot for Silovs. But the potential and that tournament winning ability in Silovs would really be a bummer to let go. I always liked King Arthurs as well. If it were my call, I would have moved Demmer out to make room for Silovs, get an asset back and free up cap space. It looks like ...

MITCH MARNER SIGNS AN 8-YEAR DEAL WITH A $12M AAV IN VEGAS IN A SIGN-AND-TRADE WITH THE leaves
If Vegas are going to be over the camp, maybe JR & Co can try to pry W.Karlsson or Barbashev off them, preferably the latter (Barbi). Kinda like when JB landed the infamous Schmidty88 for cheap. :P
