The GM job short list poll

There are five left in the running according to Rutherford, with recently Dorion holding the lead. We don’t know specially who the five are, but I’ve narrowed it down to seven rumoured people. Of those, who do you think is the best pick for the Canucks GM job?

I went with RJ. Of the others listed, I really only know Dorion and Adams, and I don't want anything to do with them.

So my efforts at informing the site about Evan Golds resume over the past several months has had a major impact.

I voted for him - his AHL success is substantial, more than a one and done RJ it would appear.
I don't care about the Boston connection, this guy doesn't seem to be anything like JB. If he had a good set of AGMs with scouting backgrounds, might make for a good team.

I went with RJ. None of the names appear to have the clout to manage ownership any better than the Old Fart, so I would opt for the guy who has the most experience - even in a tertiary observational role - with this ownership. Johnson strikes me as more steak than sizzle compared to many of the other options, and at least as astute as Benning ever was. I'm not sure on his judgement of talent, though I feel more confident in his judgement of character - something utterly lacking with Baldy, it seems.
If he has a talent evaluator and advisor he can trust (Dir Player Personnel, Chief Amateur/Pro scouting or something along those lines), he may be the team's best bet since... Gillis??? Must be time healing old wounds that I can even think of saying that. That said, outside of Brian Burke and Pat Quinn who would among the former GMs would even get a passing grade?
The challenge for the incoming management will be huge, but the bar will be ever so low. Maybe this time, they'll construct a core that doesn't implode on itself.

I'm not sure who would be the most mediocre pick for the Canucks GM, but as a Flames fan, that's who would get my vote
Can't you add Hollands and Stan Bowman (assuming he gets fired soon), to the list?
