I'll be at the game, the first one this season.
Originally, I said no, but it's a chance to watch McDiver with Ze German live in their primes. Real Top 5 league players who have consistently driven play and have produced beyond their top status. They deserve their team's percentage of the cap.
You can hate them, but to watch them skate and play live is something not to miss if you have a chance.
So, I've already jinxed this game for y'all.

I'll bring my mouth guard.
I predict this... the Dynamic Duo eviscerate our pylons on D all night with their speed, agility, passing and shooting. With the game on HNIC, they also get all the calls. Hughes try his best but the D continues to have trouble transitioning the puck out of the zone for the forwards to do anything on offence. Neither top forwards will generate much because of this and therefore their wingers are also neutered. The Kuzmenko treatment continues to try to force the player to capitulate and the sheep will bleat in unison. Fans boo, owner panics, this mgmt does what they've always done... wanting to scratch their ever itchy butts to make tweaks, upgrades and changes, damn loyalty, newly signed contracts, NMCs while avoiding tackling the real issues.
At least I'll see what real Top 5 players look like and why they deserved to be paid.

If the Canucks give up a goal in the first two minutes. Drink.
Within the first minute. Shotgun.
Goal scored because a defensemen unwisely pinched resulting in a two on one. Drink.
Drive to the net around Soucy. Drink.
Any defensemen fails to clear the zone resulting in a turn over. Sip (Drink if already down by three).
Goal scored because Myers goes into the offensive zone, thinking he’s Bobby Orr, but instead of shooting he makes an intercepted drop pass resulting in a two on one. Shotgun.
Miller makes a bad pass resulting in a two on one goal. Drink.
Miller makes a bad pass resulting in a two on one goal during a PP or PK. Shotgun.
Hoglander takes a penalty in the offensive zone. Shotgun.
McDavid goes between any two defensemen. Drink.
McDavid goes around any forward and between any two defensemen. Shotgun.
Miller fails to back check on a goal against. Drink.

I watched them last year. Didn't see much worth getting excited over other than that the Canucks torched them 8-1.
