As usual, it all comes down to this team playing a full 60 minutes, stay out of the box against the league's 4th best power play, and keep Silovs away from the net.

Not sure what our record is on morning-start games, but I'll guess it's not great.

Newsy Lalonde is attempting to have his team play a structured, controlled, defense first type game.

To this end they inhabit the bottom 2 in the NHL in shots for per game at around 25.

They also can not score, averaging 2.5 GPG, .8 behind Vancouver.

Despite this their PP is dangerous at 4th o/a, which makes sense with Kane, Larkin, the drunk cat, Raymond and Seider available to them.

They are disciplined, T4 in the league with only 7 penalty MPG, which is lucky for them as their PK sucks, last in the league at 66%.

Kane is out which helps our cause.

Talbot is pretty much statistically equal to Lankinen thus far with a much worse W/L record however.

The kind of game the Canucks tend to suck in.
