Petey's picking up the pace a bit, making some moves with confidence and ready for the big paycheque earning game!

10% of the way through the season and we are still heavily trying to figure out how to be consistent coming out of preseason, yikes.

our best players for the most part not looking like their all star selves from last year at all.

really need one of these games for our best to take over the game, like they can.

Finally a day off where I can sit down and watch a game live end to end. They better not disappoint!

I'm liking Bains' game. He might not be highly skilled but he's got a nose for the net.

Huggy seems to be driving the net a lot more and is getting close to cutting through the crease rather than circling the perimeter. Would like to see him try to stuff it in far side instead of the usual high short side shot.

Boeser seems a bit snake bitten right now. Not enough preseason games?

I don't know man - 5 goals, 9 pts in 8 games... not too shabby. I've mostly liked his 200ft game too.

Hopefully we put in a good effort. Silvos doesn't provide a lot of confidence. Neither does a 7:30pm start.

Scooter makes exactly the same as Boeser and Garland combined.

Some commented how happy they were to see Scooter smiling at the rink. Tonight's game puts $1,273,170.73 in his account.

Ricky cut his line's 5 on 5 ice time last game because of poor performance.

Lever and I thought the deal stunk at the time.

Remember that Scooter (7gm, 1g, 3a, -1) held out signing until the offer exceeded Nylander's contract (10gm, 6g, 4a, +5).

The guy has had multiple PPG seasons. He's been 4x the player he is right now.

It's a funk. A long, horrible funk but a funk nonetheless. What we see is a guy who can't take a pass, can't find the puck for a one timer, can't close down a fly.

I have heard more than one commentary about how this deep of a funk is unprecedented given the players success to this point and his age.
