Thanks Corn. Only two games left on the schedule but we'll finish up strong this weekend

Has D Petey got any more game time and has he shown any improvement in your opinion?

He did get into another game since we had our last D Petey discussion and he didn't play badly. In my opinion he needs to be sheltered as a spot seventh defenseman in this league at this time. I think they would be best served next year to leave him over in Sweden and hopefully he progresses to the top league over there. He needs to make some substantial gains in his skating, quickness (mentally and physically) and overall play. I thought Sawyer Mynio probably looked closer in the one game he got into personally.

It was straight before your eyes of you cared to open them.

I certainly wasn't raving about him here. I guess the local media went kind of bananas over his physical play.

I like his game. He's a ways out still but with some pro coaching he'll play in the show. That rage needs to be harnessed....nurtured.... encouraged
If these guys can turn Myers into an actual positive contributor then anything is possible

I'm gonna quote you on that.
But seriously, Myers has turned his game around.

It's been all Silovs in the early going.

Wolanin with the defensive giveaway and Clark Bishop beats Silovs through the legs from in close.
1-0 Calgary.
Still 1-0 at the period break.

Sasson puts one on net on the rush and Karlsson backhands in the rebound.
1-1 score early in the second period.
The forum is so slow I can't really post updates tonight so I think I'll knock off.
