Spencer Martin got the start in goal for Abby. Jett Woo played on the left side as the the Canucks have an embarrassment of right D riches.

Five righty D and just one lefty with Woo and Bowey playing the wrong side tonight as the Canucks are believers that you can never have too many righty D.

If Brady Keeper were healthy the Abby Canucks could actually ice a full compliment of six right handed D.

Unlucky double minor for high sticking to Arseneau. Frk scores the pp goal for Ontario for the 1-0 lead despite Abby playing much better tonight.

A good free swinging fight between Vinnie Arseneau and Jacob Doty earlier. Doyle would enjoy.

Anderson-Dolan bags a rebound for the second pp goal on the Arseneau double minor. Two for two.

Hambone rushing up the ice to jump into the play on a couple of occasions so far.

DiGiusseppe on a nice setup from Hamonic on the pp gets Abby on the board.

*Hamonic was as dominant as you would expect an NHL player to be at this level. Played a lot in all situations.

In your opinion, does he look ready to play in the bigs yet? How was his quickness?

In your opinion, does he look ready to play in the bigs yet? How was his quickness?

I mean, he looked great in all areas. He played the first pp unit and you know he won't do that with the Canucks. He was just dominant all around out there. And yeah, it looks like he trained his ass off, he appears to be in good condition. Absolute best case scenario, but in a perfect world you would like him to play next weekends set Friday/Saturday in Stockton to really get the rust off. I think the Canucks probably bring him up now though, that'd be my guess.

Good we need him. It's turning into a critical situation going 0-3 on home ice and getting outplayed for at least half of those 9 periods

Theyre getting pushed off of pucks and are sluggish in all areas of the ice...a physical presence to partner with QH might gain him some space and confidence.
