Others saying his poor play this season is the result of some personal issues and after the Calgary game he needed to step away to deal with it.

OK, who can start the best rumour?
He’s considering transitioning to become a woman but it will allegedly cause locker room issues with several players and the team felt blindsided by his announcement. As they are unprepared to have another locker room problem, they have asked him to waive as they endeavour to find a more inclusive environment for him somewhere else in the league, however the feedback was no positive from other GM’s and so Lankinen is now taking a personal leave to weigh whether or not he wants to terminate his contract and sign the rumoured offer to play in the PWHL for the Vancouver Goldeneyes.

Yes. However, with only Myers losing his NTC, that would still be a ton more NTC’s than Vegas (my example).

That’s a bit premature. We need to at least give Cuz a chance to spark up and weigh in with an alien theory.

Agreed. I was thinking more along the lines that they could be traded this year if we are in purge mode and wanting to get some picks/assets back. Myers could be traded after July but we could ask him now if we really wanted to start cleaning house. I mean seriously, trading Kane, Bluegar, Sherwood, Forbert are not giving us anything of note in return. So this whole we have to get younger speak means very little if that's all you've got to trade.

A quote that reveals it all.

“I believe Quinn and his agent are aware of the direction we want to go. And they’re aware of the direction they want to go. Everybody wants to play on a winning team. But there’s different reasons why people make decisions" - Jim Rutherford

I’ve read this over a few times, not hard seeing what’s going to happen, where everyone stands.

Let the shitshow begin! It's going to be a long, sad season if Rutherford can't keep his fuckin' mouth shut and not start 'playing games' (or whatever the fuck this is) in the media.

Well if we read that that Quinn is gone as soon as he can then we had better not take a slow burn approach. Start purging everyone you can and start now. Tear this fucker down once and for all. Get as many picks as you can and as many good young players as you can. Enough of this cryptic BS. Just do it.

I wonder when they become aware of the direction they want to go.

Seems pretty fluid....

Allvin needs to gag this Raisin. Losing any kind of leverage before the flop is even dealt.

Everyone already knows you don't have any cards.

Fuckin' yakity-yak...

The old man is basically shouting at the clouds that they have informed him they aren't wanting to resign in this shit nest.

It's over folks. Y'all better join me and the other self medicators in the minimum one gram chonger dosage club to help us through the next 5 years of chaos

Rutherford is a bloody menace, and Francesco Aquilini is always three years late making changes to the management. This has nightmare implications for the long-suffering fan. :(

If the rumoured trade of Necas + 1st for EP40 was true, and the subsequent rumours that it was Aqua who nixed it are also true, then this entire mess is on ownership. The team looked very good from the time Tocchet took over in 2023 right through the 23-24 season, and they were still a good team even with Pettersson phoning it in.

The major faults that are on JR/PA?

Demko's extension
Lankinen's extension and trading Silovs
M. Pettersson's extension
Betting on Chytil
