Did you know that Modern Lovers members Jerry Harrison went to become the keyboardist for the Talking Heads and David Robinson went on to become the drummer for The Cars. The Modern Lovers were around in the early 70’s said to be influenced by the Velvet Underground. Peripheral Rat Pack guy and Sinatra buddy Pete Barbutti hosted a local entertainment showcase on Seattle tv called On The town once upon a time. I imagine exotica buffs made the trip down to the Marine Room in Seattle to catch Hawaii's great purveyor of Tiki culture Arthur Lyman
