Can either D Petey or Soucey play the right side? Would mknd them as 3rd pairing.

Well that should have ended differently.

No finish. (Too many Swedes maybe? )

Also horrific officiating.....not a single PP.....and we earned at least 3.

As an aside with the games popularity blossoming the NHL best find something to do about OT.

In the zone then out,.in the zone then out et cetera et cetera (ad nauseum).

The idea of going 4 on 4 then 3 on 3 was to create excitement chances and goals while hopefully eliminating circus time shootouts.

Coaches, as usual, find ways around the free for all the league hoped for and the OT's are generally pretty lame from what I've seen....

...tonight's was actually better than most but still pretty passive.

I'd be happy with an "over and back" rule, like an offside. I think it would help ot a lot, since it's not going anywhere.

Soucy played well on the right side with DPetey a couple games back, but Tocchet won’t stand for a lefty on his off side so he had to sit DPetey and get Juulsen back in there - they’ve lost two straight with Juulsen.

That always lose with Juulsen. It's kind of a thing.

..it's a little known fact that his family changed their last name when emigrating to Canada all those years ago.

It was originally Luusjen.

Soucy has actually played the right side many times and has done ok.

Let's say... done almost as well as he does on the left side.

Defensive defensemen DPetey got his first point tonight in his third game. He is already out scoring Juulsen (35gp) on the season, not even one measly secondary assist for his efforts.
