I'm watching, I just think the format could be improved. If Russia can't come, then maybe combine the non Swedish Euros into one team.

US vs Canada head to head would be the best.

Should see Lankinen in next for the Finns.

I was honestly surprised. I kinda more or less put together how I saw the game going after that first PP. You can see how much it means to the players. Crosby is getting his passing the torch moment and God, I can't say enough about the guy as a hockey player. It's like Scotty Bowman himself made the perfect coach's player. His work ethic is legendary, he was born to be great at whatever he did and am I glad he chose hockey.

I was surprised that Marner played hero in Montreal. I love this fucking sport. Dude is just a heel of a player, he drives me nuts. He and I share a common hockey hero (Doug Gilmour) but his hands are way too good, he never learned how to properly grind and take hits. 'Keep your head up kids'. I miss Donald S.

I also learned that I kind of love Marchand?! Ham is having confusing feelings. Not in a sexual way, but maybe perhaps even worse? It's scary how much I transform into him once I hit the ice...I'm kind of a bastard, guys.

Team Canada’s Goaltending situation is a disgrace, to put it mildly.

This season Sweden has 82 skaters in the NHL, Russia 48, Finland 41, the Czechs 21, Swiss 10, Slovaks 7, Germany 6, Belarus 5, Denmark 4, Latvia 4, Austria 2, Norway 2, Slovenia 1, France 1 and Australia (sic!) 1. Other than that it is all Yanks and Canadians.

A mixed team doesn't get the same feeling to it, but I guess you could have had a Czechoslovakian team...

Anyone suggesting a mixed team is a fucking pinhead. Full stop. The Finns are missing their best player and top D man and another top 4 D man. With the league doing these other tournaments they would be better served to letting the Canadians and US have development teams 23 and under tofill in the brackets. Mixing up countries is fucking asinine. Dumb as the young gun nonsense that some idiots dreamt up a while back.,

I was gonna post the 2018 draft class as well but that would’ve depressed everyone.

I haven't watched either game but am glad there are only 2 Canucks there. Hopefully Petey finds his mojo there and brings it back to the Canucks. Glad Hughes is not there as he clearly needed to rest up for the stretch drive.
