For sure.

Yup. Currently in first place in scoring with 24 points (9G 15A) in 19 games.
He should be able to make the cut for the Canucks next season.
This guy is the real McCoy!

As long as he grows/fills out enough that we can be reasonably confident that putting him in the NHL does not expose him to needless risk of a career-ending injury, if that risk could be substantially reduced by giving him another year to physically mature.

Not everyone is the same.
Johnny Hockey? Who'd a thunk that.

Yeah highly skilled forwards usually can come in not having to be built like a tank to compete like power forwards and dmen typically have to be to perform well in the NHL.
Obviously EP should drink protein shakes, bulk/shred and continue his power skating regime in the offseason to have a better transition to the pro's.

Haha, I never saw where you actually solidified as to what that prediction was, other than that everyone should "focus" on the (currently) "1-2" years you reference. Perhaps you did and I did not see it but, if you did not, how could he be worried? If you did and I just didn't see, could you kindly refresh my memory?

Well I'm sure if you turn out to be correct, we will get to see the exact quote as you don't seem to keen on sharing it now or advising of the content.

Game on, and expecting company any moment.
Show some patience, show some respect, and go fuck yourself Donald.

So if your prediction turns out to be incorrect, I also get to call you a liar? Excellent.

We all know that Strangelove is one of the best posters at using the archives, but here is the last prediction for that time frame that I could find:
Strangelove wrote:Island Nucklehead wrote:RG, it's pointless trying to get Doc to elaborate on his rationales/metrics for the timeline, deliberately vague for a reason.
Well here's ole Nucklehead, late to the party yet already hammered.
Try to focus on 1-2 years from now.
Canucks will have made the playoffs and looked good enough to have folks clamouring aboard the train.
(the obvious
metrics of a non-top-team making the playoffs is 90-ish points, unless they change the system)
My
clearly stated rationale for this timeline:
- Old core must be gone (read Sedins).
- The evident genius of James Elmer Benning as a builder of a new core.
A
bold prediction from the Great Strangelove (and He made it 2 years ago!).
Tis a shame
you are not man enough to make bold predictions about the future of
my Canucks.

In the same thread (
http://canuckscorner.com/forums/viewtop ... &start=225) I asked Doc to more closely define "looked good" (e.g. number of playoff wins, or total goals, or something like that), but was told:
Strangelove wrote:I can't help but suspect you're being purposely obtuse...
As for "what round of the playoffs"... that is not relevant...
You dogs are not going to get a more quantified prediction than this on a fucking Canucks message board....
....I'm not on trial
Clearly, "making the playoffs", and "around 90-ish points"
are measurable, even if "looked good" isn't.
Also in that thread, in the spirit of fair play, I also offered my own prediction, with the kind of measurability I was seeking from Doc :
Ronning's Ghost wrote:The Canucks will win fewer than 3 playoff games in 2019, and will score fewer than 8 playoff goals.
Just to be clear, I think that winning fewer than 3 games and scoring fewer than 8 goals are not consistent with "looking good".
I'm not at all worried about being wrong, in that I would like to see the Canucks win more playoff games and score more goals. However, even Doc did not predict a Stanley Cup win for 2019, and in the longer term, I am worried about them peaking too early (not getting enough high picks enough years in a row) and short-circuiting their chance to build a championship-calibre team on this rebuild cycle.

See not everyone can be chubby like ya'll udl - the skinny fella's need to drink these things called protein powder shakes and pump iron to gain muscle.
Protein is composed of building blocks called amino acids which performs a variety of functions in the body such as build and maintain healthy muscles when combined with diet and exercise.

I don't know Doc, think you might be wrong, it may just be 1 year instead of 1-2 years
