I tell you what, even without the 2019 1st overall lose out. The Sens current roster youth prospect pool, combined with all the picks they’ve acquired. Their future looks pretty good IMO. Just need the right GM and Coach to cultivate it.
Chabot and Brannstrom? Could be looking at the leagues next best top pairing. Brannstrom is one helluva player

Yeah, I'd like to see them go 16-2 to finish the year. End up in the top 20.

Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Nice ceremony last night by the Flames for Jarome Iginla. Like the player - hate the team. Fuckin Lanny Macdonald still looks pretty good for an old dink.
Hey Conroy it wasn’t your day. Jesus that guy likes the sound of his own voice.
Good chance Iggy goes into the Hall with Henrik and Daniel

Iggy is a class act. He was the only bright light in what was a very dark period for the Flames.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2019 6:49 pm Nice ceremony last night by the Flames for Jarome Iginla. Like the player - hate the team. Fuckin Lanny Macdonald still looks pretty good for an old dink.

Lanny isn't that old - he's the same age as me

Ted Linday passed away. Allegedly one of the meanest pricks to ever play while also being a hell of a player. Instrumental in getting the NHLPA started I believe. Doc and Topper used to watch him play growing up.

Yes, people rarely mention this fact but their prospect pool is pretty good.RoyalDude wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2019 11:18 am I tell you what, even without the 2019 1st overall lose out. They just need a competent GM and more importantly, a competent owner.

Bad news for the Avs
Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog will miss 4-6 weeks with an upper-body injury. There are about four weeks left in the regular season. Colorado is four points out of a playoff spot. Landeskog has 33 goals and 69 points, both career highs.
This is brutal news for the Avalanche.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Sens pick for sure, but I think their own pick will still be around 10th - 12th overall.

God I hope the sens/avs pick falls, hoping Hughes/Kakko go to the East NJ & Det ha.
Why can't the frickin Canucks ever win this draft lotto? we've been screwed in the draft lottery since 1970

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
