Unfortunately "finding a way though it" generally means fucking Ukraine. The West convinced Ukraine to give up their nukes and now we will abandon them, at least I'm guessing that's what will happen.

Call me fucking stupid…. But I don’t believe any one country is worth ending humanity for.. ours, theirs… nobody’s… so yah fuck Ukraine if we must. But I also believe a total fucking of Ukraine is avoidable… however there will be some fucking of course.

If Trump's deal with Putin includes (or doesn't preclude) Ukraine joining NATO, that would be a big win.
I doubt it'll happen though. And Ukraine not being a member of NATO will just keep the door open to future aggression.

What will be interesting is how much land Ukraine has to give up 'for peace' after fighting for the past few years. What will the deal include? A 'promise' from Putin not to invade anyone else while trump's in power? (if so, I think Putin will figure 4 years is too long; maybe trump should avoid windows in tall buildings?).
Of course, for us sitting out here, it doesn't affect us. It's a matter of whether we have empathy for those who are affected by war and occupation. Giving away land also emboldens Putin to try again somewhere else. All part of the global power struggle.
Of course, if the war ends and Ukraine's wheat starts flowing freely, that will affect trade wars trump starts with his tariffs. So will a truce in Ukraine affect farmers in Nebraska and ultimately affect me? Who knows. I can't predict anything for the next four years except that the ultra-rich will get richer.

It's not "any one country", it's any country that ever was part of the Soviet Union or the Russian Empire, if you listen to Putin and his advisors when they speak to the Russian public. So you must add Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Kazakstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tadjikistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkmenistan and quite possibly Poland, Czechia and Slovakia to that list.
Putin is not going to settle for just parts of Ukraine. He wants to undo the breakup of the Soviet Union and then also have a number of vasall states where he can name the government.
Europe will stand by Ukraine. Norway just decided to double their support and France has started contemplating sending troops, now that Russia has escalated the conflict further by bringing in North Korean troops.
The war could end tomorrow if the Russian troops withdraw from Ukrainian territory.
They started this, they can end it.
