Spidey quit and doc carried on agreeing with himself remotely wearing spidey discarded husk.

Doc consulting with the woodbooger woman so long he became the woodbooger.

No doubt The Genius will continue to address the dee moving forward.

But yeah, the defense has certainly not been completely neglected as you implied…
Interesting how a phrase utilizing past tense can morph into present and future like that.
Addressed Solved Forever and Ever Amen.

How else could someone respond to "It hasn't been addressed" when in fact it has been addressed

... but to say "It has been addressed"? 8-)

Hopefully Jimbro continues to address the dee (and the O and goaltending) for his entire 30 years as GM of your Vancouver Canucks. :D

The funny thing is that I did EXACTLY THAT with some other poor schmuck at Central once upon a time!

(I informed the chosen few of it and we had some fun through private messages)

But that was Central back in the day and that kind of behavior is not tolerated here.

Hey, one must admit "woodbooger" is a great word, I've been called worse...

I think this statement would be accurate if the comparables were only defensemen, but when JB made the pick he indicated he felt Juolevi was BPA. That would seem to widen the comparables to all players picked (F, D, or G) for the assessment.
Fine, but I would contend that BPA means that player will ultimately be the best choice, i.e. they will be the best player as judged by entire careers. This doesn't imply that said BPA will be the best of their draft class at every juncture, across all positions.

Sens trade Chris Wideman to Oilers for conditional 6th.
Blows any delusions of getting any decent draft spots for "serviceable" defense men.
Clearing cap space I would think. Whatever 1 mil gets. :drink:

Luongo injured again. Lower body. Could be long term. Quick, how many years left?
