The funny thing is that I did EXACTLY THAT with some other poor schmuck at Central once upon a time!

I think this statement would be accurate if the comparables were only defensemen, but when JB made the pick he indicated he felt Juolevi was BPA. That would seem to widen the comparables to all players picked (F, D, or G) for the assessment.

Fine, but I would contend that BPA means that player will ultimately be the best choice, i.e. they will be the best player as judged by entire careers. This doesn't imply that said BPA will be the best of their draft class at every juncture, across all positions.
