I would guess that'd be Ty Young, unless Koskenvuo starts in Kalamazoo.
It's unlikely to be Tolopilo, he's a very solid AHL goalie at this point.
Ty Young has played well in his first year of pro. He's 20. Why move him for scraps? They can loan a guy to an American or ECHL team. Or maybe they have a plan to deal Silovs.

I'm not sure - neither Young, nor Tolopilo or the big Fin are ready for the NHL. And with Demko's injury history - I'd be cautious with the depth.
Goalies like him aren't going to get much on the trade market, likely a 5th-6th rounder. Basically the same as losing him on waivers.

Me too. Try to get a late mid round pick for him.
Depending on how Demko finishes, I would try to love him in the off season too.

I'd be keeping Silovs myself. Slim as the pickings may be, he's still the pick of the litter down there. He's in his last year of waiver exemption, the fourth year that goalies get. He just turned 24 last week, and he's wasted a couple of years eating popcorn. They'll probably wind up farming all of them out somewhere. Tolo might be the guy they cut loose; he's almost 25 and didn't improve this year. Still, he can play at the AHL level, and you need that. Young and Koskensuo, you can't count on them for that yet.

Canucks sixth round pick from last year's draft Anthony Romani has 8 goals in 5 playoff games to co lead the AHL playoffs. His Barrie Colts have advanced to the next round in 5 games.

Megs is an older fella Mëds.
He mixes up his vowels sometimes.

Oops lol.. Our fourth rounder from the last draft Riley Patterson, is also on that team and had four points in the five-game series.

Mëds is pretty good with the zingers.
Back in the day he and his relative.......a former poster here with a Jim Nabors avatar, got angry at one another here the odd time. When Mëds and Gohmert threw down the mitts and started bringing out their best material .....it was pretty to watch. They were cunning and crafty.
About as pretty as Roseanne Barr mud wrestling with Stuart Zukerman.

Good deal.
Romani took a step back productivity-wise with injury and then a trade. Good to see him end with a bang. Like Fernstrom, always considered to be a guy with offensive upside but lots of question marks in his overall game. I suspect Penguins were given option of high-ceiling-low-probability-of-ever-getting-there players Fernstrom or Romani in the MP3 trade. Presumably Pens had their pick of prospect forwards outside of a small list. Because the list isn't that big as it is.....

Lol, the list is short indeed. The first time I looked at that 8 goals in 5 playoff games stat I thought it must have been a typo. I don't know if they're planning to sign the kid but that's pretty damn eye popping.

As long as it doesn't lead to in consonants. That can get messy.
