So assuming training camp starts in a month or so, is there any chance the Euro prospects attend? (Pod,Hog, Jurmo)
Assuming (again) that they have to quarantine before camp, and they would miss a big chunk of their Euro clubs season, is it worth it?

I think that is a hard No. The players likely will not want to miss 6 weeks of a fucked up season, and seeing as they are under contract to other clubs, I don't think most of them will be eligible. Hoglander might be eligible, as he is on loan. Pod has a KHL contract, so he's out. And we have not signed Jurmo yet. If we add in the Worlds, which will likely overlap whatever training camp we have, I really can't see any of the kids coming over. And really, if they are playing right now, let them get the ice time. Too many good reasons to not bring them here

Hoglander has committed to playing in North America, whether NHL or AHL, so I expect he will come over.

Hog will be here eventually, but....I am assuming he wants to play in the Worlds, which run until early January. Quarantine keeps him out til pretty much the start of February, so he would miss camp anyways. Hog won't be making the team right off the plane, so he is likely AHL bound for 10 games or so, as a mini-training camp for him. But this assumes the AHL is playing. They are looking at a February 5th start date, so Hog may make it over in time for the AHL.

Colour me purple. I just read that the Hog will be ineligible for the Worlds, as he will be 12 days too old. Come on over kid!

Podkolzin could be available to the Canucks by April. We could still be playing. Well he could come on over, get some bona fide NHL practice in
and maybe a bottom six injury happens and he gets the ole "ur in there, kid".

Tonya? Where are you?

Linus Karlsson is up to 16 points in 16 games. Might have a player here. He was a 3rd rounder of the Sharks who have been a pretty solid drafting team over the years. He is also a centre where the Canucks are razor thin in the pipeline.

Sounds like he projects to be a third/fourth center, which would be awesome if he hits. Him and that Russian they drafted this year, hopefully are able to develop into playable pieces.

Looks like Linus is closing the gap with Dahlen, let's just hope he doesn't follow Dahlen's path of romping through b-league Sweden for years.

At the same age, Dahlen was in the A and managed 33 points in 57 games. Hopefully, staying in Sweden for this age-21 year helps Linus transition to North America, whereas with Dahlen the adversity seemed to become a major a setback.

Michaelis and Silovs were the best on their respective teams in a recent three team tourney in Germany. Kunz is off to a hot start in the USHL:
Canucks prospects Marc Michaelis, Arturs Silovs, Jackson Kunz looking good

I got so excited about Vasily Podkolzin and the Karjala Cup over the weekend that I neglected to notice another international tournament which also featured a couple of Canucks prospects.

The 2020 Deutschland Cup was also contested last week in Krefeld, Germany, located northwest of Dusseldorf. Like many places right now, Germany has been grappling with the coronavirus, so there were no fans in the stands and the format was changed this year to just a three-team tournament — the host Germans, Latvia, and a younger German squad that was headlined by recent first-round draft pick Lukas Reichel. No Tim Stuetzle, though — he's recovering from an arm injury, but is expected to be ready for World Juniors in December.

The main German team included NHL veteran Korbinian Holzer on defense, and Canucks prospect Marc Michaelis up front. The Mannheim native was signed as a free agent by Vancouver in March, following the end of his fourth year at Minnesota State - Mankato, and was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award.
