Bringing him back was almost as bad as re-upping Boeser for 7 more.Carl Yagro wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2026 8:36 pm I see Cousin Mike Jackson has Beat It enough and is back from his short hiatus
If you had any sort of memory left in your head you'd recall that I've noted that there are very few contracts on the team not signed by this incompetent group.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2026 8:28 pmAnything to offload that gangly fumbler was worth it

Management is stable. Scooter will turn it around he just needs linemates, after all look at those shot block numbers. Datsyuk was drafted in the 6th round, late round picks are gold. I like kool aid.
Tops, spend some more time reading this very thread. Almost everyone is on board with firing mgmt., and is putting this debacle mostly at their feet (and ownership). If there is any support for them, its because they want this team to fail so badly, that ownership will be forced to sell. Not one person that I am aware of, is supportive of the job this group has done, or is doing or has faith they will "turn it around."
Thank you for confirming I have been, once again, correct all these years.JelloPuddingPop wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2026 8:01 amTops, spend some more time reading this very thread. Most want to trade EP40 as well, and hopefully get more picks. No one is under the illusion he is a 100pt. player anymore. The only ones supporting keeping him (I am not in the boat), are arguing that the return won't give us a #1C or even a #2. Might as well keep him with the hopes that a player like McKenna might be able to help him out, or buy some time for the team to find another option/draft his replacement.
I have no idea why you think having lots of draft capital is a bad thing. Yes, its a huge gamble - and the large majority of them do not pan out (we've all seen the stats, thanks). But having draft capital also allows a competent management team to make deals that will better this club, move up in the draft etc. Trading Myers for draft capital is a good thing. Why would they keep him? Unless you think they should re-sign him after his contract expires? Or he will help the team be better next year?
So, just what do the Sedin's do?Cookie La Rue wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2026 8:16 am Something went really wrong with this franchise.
Just thinking little less than a year ago. Abby won the Calder, what a bright future we could have. Turned out to be a disaster. What's the sense of a farmteam not developing some players for the 1st team. They can get as many draft picks they want, if they're not closing this gap, senseless.
I'm not getting Tops' hate-on for the Myers deal.JelloPuddingPop wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2026 8:01 amTops, spend some more time reading this very thread. Thank you again, for simply not contributing to a conversation and continuing to yell at a cloud... I was correct for posting that, and not trying.Topper wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2026 8:26 amThank you for confirming I have been, once again, correct all these years.JelloPuddingPop wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2026 8:01 amTops, spend some more time reading this very thread.
