So Blais was brought in on PTO with Joshua still a bit behind in rehab/training/camp shape.

Six goalies wanted for camp, Demko not ready, Island kid Ferguson added on a PTO.

Blueger a week behind. Which one of Aman/Sasson/Raty makes the biggest impression?

You have to think Aman but I’m hoping Sasson shines at camp. I bet they wish they handled DeSmith differently

Hopefully they take their time with him. Hopefully Šilovs performs well enough to allow them the time. Tolopilo is also in the system. Neither of them are Demko, but we’re in a waaaay better place than we were a couple years ago.

Good news/bad news scenario with Demko.

The bad news is he has an unusual injury that cannot really be identified. No hockey player/goalie has dealt with it before, and only a hand full of soccer players.

Sounds like he’s had a bunch of docs/experts trying to ID the issue. He had a minor operation over the summer on a separate issue that required two weeks rest.

Good news is that he believes he’ll get back to 100%. While he’s not participating in camp, he is doing on-ice workouts with the new goalie coach and suggests he is week to week.

Bizzare.
