Starting to like this guy...
Really?....please share.
Can't find the article today but he blunted some of what he said by saying some of the things that Ward comments on, skilled, moody, not a leader, needs to be sheltered by other stars......

Burke is the guy who gave up the farm to go get Kessel and then Dion, but Burke is also the one who pushed to allow teams to retain salary. You have to guess MLSE has been looking for a place to park that Darcy Tucker cap hit that finally ran out last season.

:D.The board has spent months interviewing possible replacements for Leiweke and has been collectively surprised that some qualified candidates haven't been interested in even interviewing for the job. :D

Yeah, it's a nut-house, which is why Leiweke was caught planning his escape 1 year after signing a 5-year contract.

Dysfunction at the highest level (Bell vs Rogers).

Dysfunction at the lowest level (Kessel vs coaches).

Word is now out on said dysfunction.

No self-respecting executive or player wants any part of it.

Tis a shame really.

Too big to fail? Hardly.

It's also worth mentioning that at the half-way point of their season, the leaves sit outside the playoffs, and have just 18 home games left this season, and 23 on the road.

I'd wager Tuna actually cheers for the Canucks tonight, because if Florida wins, they move ahead of the leaves in the standings.

Speaking of Tuna, where is he. I would like to hear his take on the Carlyle firing and the Kessel rant.

I'm sure he'd say that such a great coach like Carlyle, and such a great franchise player like Kessel were just too much greatness for one organization and it's for the best that Carlyle moves on before the arena explodes from the positive vibes.

As for the Kessel rant, he's just putting the Toronto-hating media in their place. What kind of reporter asks such an obvious question, anyways?

April Reimer trying to cure the lunacy in Leaf Nation.

So sweet, so naive…

Asked how the change, installing Peter Horachek as interim head coach, would affect the team in the last half of the season, Shanahan said: “That’s the million-dollar question.”

Yeah, I could think of a few better prizes.

Yeah, and what happens if-and-when her husband's trade-demand comes to fruition?

Some silver lining at least in the loss to Lou and the Panthers.

Reimer looks pretty uncomfortable and uninterested in the video.

Yes cyberbullying is bad, but I'm not sure why she is especially suited to tackling it unless people cyberbully her poor Jamesey Wamsey.

Fantastic move, Carlyle was the leaves biggest problem.

The media trying to blame Kessel for this is hilarious.

At least you're consistent.
