Exactly Doc, not to mention Loui is playing good hockey with Bo right now
Loui is getting dragged around by Bo who has been playing great.
Yup. Bo will make a 3rd liner out of Loui yet, I tells ya.
Louis Eriksson is on pace for his #-
1 worst point total of his NHL career. I guess singing Sha-na-na x2,hey-hey-hey-good bye would'd help?

Rick Dhaliwal:
Lockwood on signing with Canucks, “that is the plan every since I got drafted by Vancouver, hopefully it works out for both sides.
My dream was to play 4 years at Michigan, just like the dream to play in Vancouver, being apart of the Canucks organization.”
dobber prospects:
Lockwood RW - 5'11 - 172lbs
Blessed with great wheels, obvious tenacity and soft hands, Lockwood projects as a strong middle-six winger who can play in all situations.
elite prospects:
A hard-nosed two-way winger that thinks ahead of the play and seeks to be proactive whenever he is on the ice. In every situation, he exhibits haste, quickness, and urgency. He utilizes his high end footspeed to gain position on the opposition, and inherently knows how to create time and space for himself and teammates. Adheres to the physical side of the game and will initiate contact instinctively.
Fast, gritty winger with some scoring skills, sounds like Hansen.

I saw Lockwood play late last season and he looked really good, ready to make the jump to the AHL. This year, the results haven't been there, for Lockwood or the team. They've scored the fewest goals in the conference, and Lockwood's a player I am sure they were expecting goals from. Last week's sweep of Notre Dame could provide the jump start they need.
22 year olds with a stagnant or downward trajectory are not good bets to make the NHL. He might have the ability to develop into an energy player that will get him a contract, though. But its hard to see his upside as being more than a Tyler Motte.

Valuable bottom 6 energy player, great prospect. Why does Blob define his prospect scouting wherewithal by point totals. Intangibos

I don’t do prospect scouting... do you?
I said the lack of offence is alarming. He’s a senior.

It's likely his season is over in time for for a short but possibly relevant stint in Utica this season if Jim wanted to do him the big favor.
I don't know if exams in his final year could alter that equation.
My guess is Benning waits till summer but you never know.

Probably top out as a 15 goal scorer in the pro's, but a solid 3rd liner, Matt Cooke styles just less playing on the edge.

Hansen as well was a 10-15 goal scorer.

I think Lockwood can be like a Panther Noel Acciari or a Pens John Marino...the who tf are these guys, but help your team in a low-key way, they didn't have the most productive last year in college either, but they carved their way into the NHL with hard work.
Lockwood just needs to add about 15lbs from now till Sept training camp and will likely play most if not all of 2020/21 season with the Comets.

Comets Cory: Brogan Rafferty is on pace for 68 points in his rookie year.
I think this dude has a NHL future big time.

SKYO, potentially we could be seeing all of Hoglander, Woo, Madden, Lockwood and Focht suiting up in Utica next season!

Marino is Lockwood’s age, plays defense, and skipped the minors. Acciari is a journeyman signed as a free agent out of college (iirc) who, until this season, is the kind of player readily available at league minimum every offseason. You don’t sign a guy out of college if their upside looks like a replacement level $700K contract.
Maybe Lockwood has more — again, I thought he looked really good a year ago when I saw him live (only Hughes and Norris were better for the Wolverines) — but I’m thinking there isn’t a huge delta between him and a number of undrafted or unsigned graduating seniors looking for work when the school year is done (or in the case of the unsigned, come this summer).

@Hockey_Robinson
Brogan Rafferty with a short handed goal and 3 primary assists tonight.

That gives him 37 points in 40 AHL games - good to lead all blue liners, all rookies, and sit 7th most in the AHL. #Canucks

for the record, hyper Hank was 1st.
Jimmy will be pleased. Brogan got himself on the Main Sportsnet Highlights of the night.

Apparently Rafferty suffers from Alopecia. The same disease Messier, Sundin and Kassian have
