Dealing with returns of items bought before Dec 14th, setting up the new regs in their POS systems, inventory/purchasing control....then resetting immediately after Valentines.

Then there are the Provinces with HST that are losing their portion of the tax or the corollary of residents of Provinces without HST having to pay higher taxes.

Why everyone will take the GST holiday and the $250 dollar cheque in April, no one is buying the the message and we all see it as patently absurd and fiscally irresponsible.

The cheque in April reminds me of Wimpy in the old Popeye cartoons. "I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today."

Be interesting to see how hard they railroad Pat King in January.

Yeah King is a blow hard who is not what MSM portrays him to be (a Trucker Convoy "leader").

But there are far worse criminals with far greater crimes out there that we could be putting through the costly processes of jail time and trials than prosecuting a guy who was pretty much just protesting Governmental overreach (which we're allowed to do in Canada allegedly) and for which he had legit cause in many people's minds.
