Hang in there Reef, my Dad lived with Leukaemia for 25 years. His oncologist was baffled. Definitely wasn’t supposed to last that long.

Good for you man. Glad you're getting better.

Stay in the fight! Glad it sounds like you are progressing well.

About 6 weeks ago I was diagnosed with cancer, I am still in my 40s. WTF. Thankfully I have been given a very good prognosis but I will start treatment next month and, like you, it is always in the back of my mind.

Doc diagnosed me with Trump Derangement Syndrome but I decided to get a second opinion and tested negative.

This is turning into the cancer thread, which is not a bad thing; Doc would approve. I just did my first biennial FIT test for colorectal cancer last week. Probably should have started at a much earlier age. Would recommend everyone get on that.

But now that I'm Googling I found out there's also a PSA test, which is for prostate cancer. It's a blood test. Anyone getting that?

Every year 5th as part of my annual physical (which is just around the corner for circa '25 as I think about it) with my bloods, urines and stools.

Been doing colonoscopy every 5 years since age of 35.

Anyone reading this and not having annual physicals & testing(s) done I highly suggest you get on it.

Early detection, as evidenced by theman, is key.
