Chocolate and Malt Ovaltine is pretty good. Always enjoyed them as a kid. Horlicks is not as good, imo. But both are better than the shitty, chemical and sugar filled, North American hot chocolate powders and syrups.
I had no idea Ovaltine was from Switzerland. Horlicks is actually from the US but created by Brits.
I thought both were UK products. Huh, learned something new.
Speaking of Ovaltine... I bet Chef use to regularly pass out in front of the Ovaltine Cafe on Hastings near Main after consuming a bottle of Chinese cooking wine.

I'm not sure I ever tasted Ovaltine. It was sold as a healthy drink, as I recall. I believe Strawberry Quik was my personal go-to.
When I think of The Geez, vintage products like Ovaltine, Geritol, and Absorbine Jr come to mind

Tucson started strong but after the Canucks had a goal waived pff they turned the tables, coming in waves and posting a single period season high 20 shots.
Sasson started the rush out of his own end before crafting a nice tic tac toe play with Bains and Tristan Niewlsen, Nielsen beating Jackson Stauber.
Canucks up 1-0 after one period.

Canucks killing a penalty to start the second period and Mueller takes the puck behind the Tucson net and connects with Wouters who beats Jackson Stauber for a short handed goal. 2-0 Abby early second period.
Agguzino with a flying elbow on Mueller who doesn't have the puck. Mueller is down on the ice, Agguzino to the box for five minutes.
Wouters to Sasson and he beats Stauber lglove. 3-0 Canucks, power play goal.
The 3-0 score holds up going into the second intermission.

As the higher seed, the Canucks had the choice of two home and three on the road, or two on the road and three at home. Given this choice, most teams go with the former, but Abby decided to go with the latter. Mr Aquilini likely intervened here in favor of the extra guaranteed home gate.
Brandon Astle spoke confidently that the Canucks would choose to start at home during last night's broadcast, but the young fella doesn't know Mr Aquilini the way some of us old timers do. Although, as one of the few, if not the only AHL pbp announcer who doesn't travel with the team, you would think he would be starting to catch on by now.

Coachella Valley won the season series by a 3-1 margin, with the lone Abbotsford victory coming in the second-to-last game of the regular season. Coachella's success came befoie the Canucks season turnaround when they were the hottest team in the league down the stretch.
Coachella has a young, talented, prospect-laden roster comprised largely of recent Seattle draft picks, of which Ron Francis has compiled a plethora. I'm expecting a fast-paced, exciting series.
Prediction: Canucks in five games, with Abbotsford's edge in experience making the crucial difference in these pressure-packed games.
Game one goes Tuesday down in Palm Springs.

Hopefully none of our lads have anything anti-Yank on their cell phones.
With the recent cash crunch I doubt Uncle Frankie is offering up free burners.
