I thought Tocc should have taken Demmer out in the 3rd period and let DeSmith finish up, but I can see the coaching staff wanting to give Demmer the whole game to get him back up to speed. Oh well, main thing is our team got out unscathed with no injuries to key players.
I'm liking the way Lindholm is building chemistry and looking pretty good with DJ81 and Garly. If they can become a solid shut down line for us and chip in with some occasional goals, it'll be big for us in the playoffs. Those 2 linemates kinda resemble Lindholm's lineups in Calgary whom he had most success with: Matty Tkachuk & Johnny Hockey. Joshua is kinda like a poor man's version of Tkachuk, power forward type with some size, grit and scoring touch. Garly is kinda like a poor man's version of Gudreau with his skill and playmaking. Hopefully those 2 will get the most out of Lindholm and maybe Lindholm can help those 2 reach a higher lvl as well.
Give Blueger his own line on the 4th and let him anchor it with whoever: Podz, Lafferty, Di Giuseppe, etc. I think they can become a decent grind, checking, energy, lunch bucket line.
