My wife’s family is split in half, one half are angry racist whitey rednecks, the other half are hippy dippy, flower child surfers, think Dude Lebowski on one side John Wayne on the other, that’s her family. The hippy half are way more normal, fun, easy going and chilled, you can actually have a non hate filled conversation with them, the John Wayne half are your prototypical angry MAGA white fear type who won’t stop talking about all of Trump’s talking points.

I’m surrounded by religious whack jobs. I showed up to one of my jobs today and an employee of my flooring contractor (Muslim) was on his knees doing that Islam preying thing where they bring their forehead to the ground, all while I’m doing a walk through on the job with the client. My white Drywaller on my other job is a Christian holy roller who won’t stop bringing up Jesus and the lord ,when we talk, and keeps trying to convert me. All his employees are former gangsters, alcoholics, drug addicts and ex-cons who found god. What’s the world coming to?
