Yay team.

Hargraves just got back. What a game! Arturs looked solid. Need to sign Sammy the Bull. Bains was in the mix. Woo was gritty. Mancini looked like a deer in headlights. That place is a fucking zoo. Its a good selling point for players to coke here. An hour out of town, chance to work with the twins, and a jammed arena. Khaira is worth a 2 way next year. Like Karlsson a lot and he isn't afraid to whack someone. Brisebois is the consummate pro.

Manny has that team in wolf pack mentality. By next year he needs to be an associate coach in Vancouver. He seems to have a lot of buy in. Well worth the 100 a ticket x 4 I paid.

That Mueller kid is for real. Karlsson has 12 playoff goals. He's Borser with balls. Less shot, more sandpaper.

If Blais can work on his wheels, he's good depth - especially if they make the playoffs.

Karlsson is showing that he has NHL skill and attitude to stick as a productive 4th line option. I like what the kid brings to the table. Meanwhile, I see Jonny Dahlen is lighting it up back in Timra...

This is a good experience for Mancini. Kid has promise, but better he get his 'deer-in-the-headlights' playoff experience in Abby vice Van.

Dunno about Khaira, but depth is depth.

I don't see any future top-6 forwards in Abby - even in the Finals - but this playoff run is demonstrating that the organization has forward depth to replace bottom-6 casualties. Mancini and Kudryavtsev show promise as bottom-4 contributors. Silovs has recouped his lost value from last training camp to become a valuable asset that management has to consider this offseason.

Still waiting for Lekk to break out. We may as well be waiting for Godot...

Karlsson may have the overall intangibles (intelligence, physicality) to hold a roster spot with the below NHL-average skating. Wish the rest of his game could be on Sasson's wheels.

Khaira -- call up depth only -- could be Aman, could be any of a dozen of UFA6's and NQ RFAs.

Blais, though, if there's still a spot for crazy in a lineup, he should get another look. He hits standing and slowly moving objects real hard. He's played quite a bit of NHL hockey, but for some reason the offense dried up entirely in his last stint with the Blues and he couldn't even get a two way. Always a 12-13 forward, but it was weird that one year he goes 40 games with the Rangers without a goal (22-23) only to score 20 points in 31 games after the Blues took him back and then the next year (23-24) scored a single goal in 53 games. One more shot as a 13/14, what's to lose?

Arty and Sammy have become folk heroes in Abby. I agree with you that Sammy has earned a two-way contract with a good AHL base salary. Mancini has looked more tentative in the finals than he had previously; hopefully, he can get past that. Khaira is good Abby material; I think he'll be back. Mueller and Kudryavtsev were the two kids I was going to recommend you watch closely.

Brisebois didn't come out for the third period - did you see what happened?

Possibly. Definitely for Blais. Also, everyone seems to be forgetting the flying, face first headerLekkerimaki took into the end boards, resulting in oral surgery and probably some weight loss on his 172-pound frame.

I think he must be. His play has changed quite a bit compared to earlier in the playoffs.
