If Seth returns to his Columbus days its solid for both teams.
Cap space was key for both teams. Hawks get more and can accelerate the rebuild. Panthers had enough and made a good add. They can let Ekblad walk and probably have the coin to sign Benny. Hawks can add a couple high end wingers this summer. They have some nice young D.

(cap space doesn't matter for a rebuilding team)
Chicago is retaining for 5 more years. They better be competitive by then.

You're thinking OEL. Elmer had so many fuckups, I guess it gets confusing.

That is why I said fiasco
s. Loui directly lead to OEL. We shoulda bit the bullet on Loui's last year instead of trading his shit for OEL's shit. Classic example of making a bad 6 year decision last 15 years.

Watching Peter play this year looks like he inherited Air Theif's and Oliver IDON'T CARE's attitude. And as a long time fan I hope he pulls his head out of his ass.
As an asside...... Mëds do you still have that black lab with the massive hooters and the big shitbag?
I'm having some issues with my dog now. Labs are the best but they leak hair, they steal food and get bullied by anything bigger than a gerbil.

The Edmonton Oilers have acquired forwards Trent Frederic (75% salary retained), Max Jones, and the rights to Petr Hauser in a multi-team deal involving the Boston Bruins and New Jersey Devils. Boston receives Max Wanner, a 2025 second-round pick (originally from St. Louis), and a 2026 fourth-round pick from Edmonton. New Jersey receives the rights to Shane Lachance from Edmonton and trades Frederic to Edmonton after first acquiring him from Boston for Petr Hauser’s rights. Edmonton strengthens its forward depth by adding Frederic, Jones, and Hauser. Boston gains defensive prospect Max Wanner and two draft picks while New Jersey flips Frederic to Edmonton in exchange for the Shane Lachance. - CapWages
Well, it looks like the Oilers picked up a pile of crap for a 2nd and a 4th. the 2nd is likely between 40th and 45th overall.

Both labs went to the big house in the sky a few years back. My brother adopted them in 2017 when we had to relocate to Nova Scotia for 5 months and live in the RV with a 3 year old and 4 month old. The wife was not adding 2 labs to that living scenario. When we returned she wanted to let them stay with my brother as I was going to be away a bunch for work. Fair is fair I suppose.....but I didn't love letting them go.
Favourite breed of dog, no question, but if I get another it will be a mutt.....preferably crossed with a Rottweiler. Purebred labs are like fine china when it comes to health. Lots of allergies, hip and knee issues, gut problems. Blacks and goldens are generally less problematic than the chocolates and whites. The older of our two was a big pussy, all bark. 95lbs and fast as fuck when running, looked half greyhound when he was stretched out in a sprint. The younger one was 105lbs and built like a brick shithouse.....he wasn't a pussy and routinely put other dogs in their place when they got "too friendly". Both were amazing people dogs.
We ended up with a purebred poodle 5 years ago.....wanted a dog with our new place having a backyard right on the mountain and 2 kids in the backyard all the time. Wife wanted hypo-allergenic. We looked at doodles but it's a 50/50 roll on whether or not they get the right genes. Standard poodles have good health histories, are between 60-70 lbs, good with their own families and also territorial.....which is what I wanted if anything bigger than a squirrel came into the backyard when the kids were out there. We ended up with a runt that maxed out at 37 lbs, neurotic as fuck, and hyper possessive of me. Affectionate and friendly with every adult, lots of my co-workers take her for hikes so they have bear-bait, great off leash, but annoys the shit out of me and is a complete bitch to other dogs which results in her getting tuned in like Chef on a good afternoon in the Astoria's back alley. She also growls at my wife and kids if they wander over towards me when she's on the floor or couch beside me.....all bark and no bite, but I wanna get rid of her.

I have a breed of dog (Maremma) that doesn't exist in BC but is fairly common out here in the country.

They're build like a leaner version of Great Pyrenees with a lab like personality. Mine talks like Scooby Doo and sits close when the happy sticks are smoldering on a finger. He likes to get baked with us

Looks like a dog that would enjoy getting baked.
Speaking of labs... I have black lab who is about 7 now. I found him starving and near death on a dirt road. Happened to be the same day I had to put down my 17 year old pointer. Quite a day. He's been healthy since, and 'good boy'. Terrified of storms, which isn't a good thing here in the prairies. Also have a 5 year old adopted border collie 'plus'. She's as neurotic as they come, but a sweet dog most of the time.

A few years back a guy in the Slocan was cross breeding Great Pyrenees with every other large mountain dog he could find in hopes of developing an ultimate mountain dog. Left a large population of weird looking large dogs circling about the Slocan and the Kootenays. I'm certain they're baked mow than Korean breeds.

Gretzky could be chummy with Satan himself and I would still cheer for someone to make that Putin-slurping commie a paraplegic before he gets any closer to the record.

As a Canuck fan who remembers the 80s, I just can't cheer for him. Don't care if that 'orange man loving traitor' loses that record.
