Month of Nov (before last night)
100 + point pace
1st in league blocked shots by forward
1st in league face offs won (not good last night so likely dropped)
Either way.
Nutting up.
Hank....the tonguings work off each other to create exacerbated end result dynamics.

The players can only do their best, it's the clowns that run the circus that I have no faith in. They should be dogpiled incessantly.
Edit: Very fair assessment, theman.
Yeah, agree. My issues with this current edition of the Canucks is squarely on ownership and upper management. Players are trying their best and do not quit, I will give them that. I am undecided on coaching so far, don't think we can really judge them until at least the half way point of the season.

Petey has been trending in the right directions. I will preface this first with, he isn't quite earning his full salary, yet, but........
Considering the source, ya’ll better brace yourself for this…..
If Pettersson had 2 more goals on the season, he absolutely would be earning that salary. He would be a 1.0 PPG centre plugging at a 32 goal pace, and providing Selke-nominee-level 2-way play.
If that isn’t quite worth $11.6M per this season, it will be under next year’s salary cap.

At this point I think Foote and team have to be given kudos for managing a MASH outfit very well and getting the best possible out of the skin and bones remaining.
Not sure what that means long term though....

The truly surprising thing about this team under Foote as a coach is the number of shots we're giving up!!!

Negative. My opinion of European hockey players in the post-season remains unchanged.

Well, that's good to hear you haven't sold yourself out.
You should let Dude out from the trunk of you car now.

Horvat - 12 goals - 11 assists - 23 points - 19 games
Pettersson - 6 goals - 13 assists - 19 points - 21 games
JT Miller - 4 goals - 5 assists - 9 points - 20 games

Very telling. Looks like the Canucks choosing Petey over JT was the right call but they should have chosen Horvat over him too.

Easy to say that 3 years later. Nobody was complaining at the time, and the following season the deal was a landslide win for Vancouver.
