I believe two forwards will get traded up front by October, there's way too many contracts & I don't think management wants to send a couple expensive contracts to Utica except maybe Eriksson unless he goes on coke and rips up the scene.

Did you mean Schaller? as Spooner is bought out already $1M cap hit x 2.

I like Schaller as a 4th liner, scrappy, big fella who can throw em if needed, he'd be good in a playoff run as part of the "5th line" who can move up when needed.

Did you mean Schaller? as Spooner is bought out already $1M cap hit x 2.

I like Schaller as a 4th liner, scrappy, big fella who can throw em if needed, he'd be good in a playoff run as part of the "5th line" who can move up when needed.

We have lots of scrappy large boys who we can call up for 1/2 the price.

If Jim can get any pick at all for Timmy, lets just do that and free up 1.9. Almost two million makes a difference.

Note; Kind of pissy the 19/20 cap came out so damned late.

It only frees up a million. The replacement will make a million.

They really liked him in Boston, I could see them floating a late rounder our way if they need a depth piece or injury relief. May require salary retention though.

Why not see if he comes to camp ready to work for his cake. The guy was part of a pretty good physical forecheck line in beanerville

His problem was Green didn’t like him. As soon as he was on for a few goals against he was instant dog house. Gonna play bottom six, don’t get scored on!! Maybe if he gets a clean slate.....

I could be wrong but from where I sit he was slacking off and Green called him on it.

Probably best for all concerned if they part ways.

His $500K bonus has been paid, maybe retain another few hundred thousand and dish him to a budget team?
