I don’t know why the fat fuck said his father was born in Germany but I do know that saying he meant to say grandfather was born in Germany is a leap of opinion.
We Can’t know what he meant to say other than he is a detestable orange fat fuck.
I also know that when I get into conversations about Canada and someone says my (insert relative here) is Canadian. I think to myself “who gives a fuck about your (insert relative here) and why are you trying to make some irrelevant connection with me. Fuck off.

Did you perchance do a lot of acid in your youth?
I can see two reasonable explanations:
1) he doesn't care whether it happened or not, he's trying to make a point and the truth is irrelevant
2) he is showing early signs of dementia
Those are both plausible.
That he accidently said father instead of grandfather, repeatedly, without correcting himself, is not.

Occassionally stumbling on a word is not a sign of dementia, but going from being reasonably eloquent, as Trump was in the 1980's, to frequently mangling words and not being able to tell your father apart from your grandfather... yeah, I'd worry.
So, I take it you have never referred to your grandfather as your father?

So every year local papers will publish lists of the top ten richest people in your town, etc. Who cares? I mean unless you've been lying about your finances, what's the problem?
