You disappoint me Per.Per wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2019 10:01 pmSo, do you often and repeatedly confuse your father with your grandfather?Strangelove wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2019 4:12 pmSeriously?Per wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2019 6:24 am We all know that Donald Trump is a compulsive liar, who will say pretty much anything without concern over whether it is factual or not. Like claiming that the sound from wind power plants causes cancer. I mean, seriously...![]()
But when he blurts out at a press conference with the head of NATO that his father (Fred Trump) was born in Germany, when everyone knows he was born in New York, you have to ask yourself, WTF? Is he just lying out of habit, and if so, why? Why would he want to claim his father is from Germany? Or is this dementia? Or hallucinations?
I mean, seriously...![]()

You truly aren't picking up on the fact that he simply accidentally said "father" rather than "grandfather"?
See there's father Frederick Trump (who was born in New York) and grandfather Frederick Trump (who was born in Germany).
Are you and your leftist brethren so desperate for dirt on Lord trump that you're jumping all over minor slips of the tongue?
You poor sick bastards!![]()

It's not like he did it just once.
Oh, no... We all know he is Putin's puppet.Strangelove wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2019 7:39 pm You disappoint me Per.
I was hoping you came back with something like:
Maybe he meant to say "My fuhrer is from Germany"
I thought we established this wasn't gibberish?Per wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2019 9:36 pmOh, no... We all know he is Putin's puppet.Strangelove wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2019 7:39 pm You disappoint me Per.

But all joking aside, doesn't it bother you that he keeps saying stuff that makes no sense whatsoever?
The man is holding possibly the most powerful position on earth, and he speaks gibberish.
I don’t know why the fat fuck said his father was born in Germany but I do know that saying he meant to say grandfather was born in Germany is a leap of opinion.Strangelove wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2019 11:33 amI thought we established this wasn't gibberish?Per wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2019 9:36 pmOh, no... He meant to say grandfather but said father.
As for the other stuff, it's gonna happen here and there with people who give so many speeches/interviews.
So in answer to your question, no I'm not concerned.
In fact I quite enjoy the way it triggers the desperate opposition media into tail-chasing frenzies.
Great entertainment!
Lamest excuse I ever heard.
Well, he does it A LOT. And that is a typical early sign of dementia. Makes you concerned.Strangelove wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 4:08 pm Listen to Per and Uk go on and on about it...
"He said the wrong wordHE SAID THE WRONG WORD!!!"
Well, actually, that would explain a lot.....I hope next time he says his father was born on Mars.![]()
Uhm, no, the two things are completely unrelated. It's more like this:
Occassionally stumbling on a word is not a sign of dementia, but going from being reasonably eloquent, as Trump was in the 1980's, to frequently mangling words and not being able to tell your father apart from your grandfather... yeah, I'd worry.
Well, I frankly don't get how he can keep them secret, but then I live in a country where your taxes are considered a public document. And yes, this means you can contact the tax authorities and ask to see what your neighbour's taxes were. But you need to know the social security number, and they will charge you a minor fee for mailing you a copy. Still. So every year local papers will publish lists of the top ten richest people in your town, etc. Who cares? I mean unless you've been lying about your finances, what's the problem?
