But when he blurts out at a press conference with the head of NATO that his father (Fred Trump) was born in Germany, when everyone knows he was born in New York, you have to ask yourself, WTF? Is he just lying out of habit, and if so, why? Why would he want to claim his father is from Germany? Or is this dementia? Or hallucinations?
I mean, seriously...

Btw, in his book, The Art Of The Deal, he claimed his father was from Sweden. I've long thought we should sue him for slander over that.

You truly aren't picking up on the fact that he simply accidentally said "father" rather than "grandfather"?

See there's father Frederick Trump (who was born in New York) and grandfather Frederick Trump (who was born in Germany).

Nah. Many of his more recent gaffes, like saying oranges instead of origins (also repeatedly) do look a lot like early stages of dementia.
Maybe the guy should see a doctor.

Pero, oye, en estos tiempos mi conocimiento de castellano es mucho mejor que el de ruso.

Naturalmente, sueco es la lengua que conozco mejor, como es mi lengua materna. Creo que inglés es mi segunda lengua, alemán mi tercera, castellano en lugar cuatro y además hablo un poquito de ruso, francés y finlandés. Pero mal.
