I believe they are going hard after him because they know Benning is fucked and both those teams weaknesses right now is goaltending. I believe it is noon Eastern. I am sure he would extend it if he knew Van and AZ were close to a trade though.

Yeah saw that too, I am sure if they were 'initiating' the trade call and were VERY close, he would extent to get what he wants. but yeah, if it is not done soon, then good bye to that dream/nightmare depending on your opinion.

Omg did you happen to hear JD Burke going on about the likely loss of Stecher this morning on 1040? The way he was going on you'd think it's cataclysmic. He touting all these fancy stats but all I saw was a fire drill most times he was on the ice. I don't hate on Troy and like his effort but he should be an easily replaceable part for half the price of what it would have taken to qualify him.

It's not Trojan's fault that our right side has been AHL quality and full of holes.

But it is Trojan's fault that he needs protection and can really only play with Edler, which forces him to play too many top situation minutes that he is incapable of.

He’s a bottom pairing guy who should make 1.5 million or so. I laugh at the outrage about a 15 min solid, low event D man, who’s loathed because of his height or lack thereof.Funny thing is the pitchfork team that falls in line behind the miserable old coal miner never once threw shade on far shittier and far more expensive players in Sbisa and Gudbranson.

This team lacks about 5 decent forwards and a couple middle pairing D men but ‘that damn Stecher is the problem’

I've always said those two are overpaid, but that you have to overpay UFAs to get them to get aboard a rebuild.

Too bad about his rash of injuries, but Sutter's contract is up at the perfect time.

And Beagle's contract is very tradable at that same perfect time, one year hence.

I guess Dad was looking for term and JB was unwilling. 4.5/year seems like a steal for Tanev... provided he can stay healthy.

Well, it's time to go all-in on a certified No. 1 RHD now. Anything else is taking a step backward.
