We just need them to put together enough of a streak that some other team sees them as part of a playoff push upgrade, and is willing to part with some asset to acquire them. And I'm in the camp that 2030 picks are potentially just as good as any other draft year, and I'd expect there to be a fair number of GMs who aren't very attached to picks that are likely to be made long after they've left the club.

I wouldn't want to be bet the retirement fund on it or anything, but it's not that unlikely. Maybe as good as a late second-rounder having more than 200 NHL games.
