Funny that people here think the Toronto media loves the leaves. All their doing to ripping the team. No fan salute! Who cares?
The Team won, so the media can't talk about the game. They must bring up this useless issue.

The Leaf players brought this latest controversy upon themselves.
It's no coincidence that they decide to bitch-slap their fans after 2 games of jerseys-tossed-on-the-ice
... not to mention the SCREAMING Leaf nation has been doing on social media the past few days.
For YEARS they salute the fans after
every home win and stop...
NOW??
NOW... while tensions have never been higher (thank you social networking!).
Leaf players have been expressing anger toward the Leaf media of late, and now they stick it to the fans!
OMG Leaf fans just got buttfucked on national television by their own players!!!
Personally I'm buying into the theory that this was Kessel's idea (watch him closely in the video).
A few years ago we found out Phil Kessel hates working out.
A few months ago we found out Phil Kessel “hates coaches".
A few days ago we found out Phil Kessel hates the media.
A few hours ago we found out Phil Kessel hates the fans.
How do YOU spell “C A N C E R”?
He was a cancer on the Bruins and now he’s a cancer on the Leaves.
Kessel: “I’ll put pucks in the net for a decade or two if you give me $100M and shut the fuck up”.
Phaneuf + Kessel are the funniest duo since Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels!!
OMG the leaders of the Toronto Maple Leaves are petulant petty children!
BLOW LEAVES BLOW!!!
Classy!

Toronto is the asshole of North America
Have you been to Cleveland?

Or Buffalo?
Toronto is one of the cleanest, safest big cities you'll find anywhere.

The leaves will be mediocre for a long time . Other than Rielley there aren't any good young players on the team . Gardiner is ok but he is a seconds pairing d man at best . Nylander may be decent player if he gains 25 pounds. Randy and Burke fucked that team up good . Long term deals to losers like One Ball and Phaneuf that will hamstring the incoming GM . I love it !

The opposite of a leader, is a loser.
Kessel can score 60 goals a season for the next ten year, but until he changes his attitude and work ethic, he will always be a loser.

He's never managed to score 40.

... and doesn't get any concussions.
Oh wait...
http://www.torontosun.com/2014/11/22/ma ... -in-sweden
William Nylander, the leaves' first-round pick (eighth overall) in the 2014 NHL entry draft, was injured in a game in Sweden on Saturday while playing for Modo of the Swedish Elite League, according to Uffe Bodin, editor-in-chief of hockeysverige.se.
Nylander, 18, was accidentally hit in the head by the skate of defenseman Snubbin Karma, possibly sustaining a concussion on the play.

I heard a bit of a fun fact today to remember Pat Quinn related to the Leaves. The Leaves made the playoffs 6/7 times when the mighty Quinn was GM/coach there. He missed the playoffs that 7th year when he was just coach and that Ferguson Jr guy took over as GM; Quinn was dismissed. After Quinn's departure from TO, the Leaves only made the playoffs once in like 8 years.

In fairness, there was no cap during Quinn's years and they were top 5 in payroll.

In fairness, he was followed by fools.
JFJr of the Andrew Raycroft for Tuuka Rask fame......among many, many others
Fletcher (interm to mop up the mess from JFJr)
Burke of truculence, Kessel for 2 firsts (Seguin and Hamilton), Mike Komisarek, Dion Phaneuf
Nonis - Clarkson
