Not winning any races or puck battles. Oilers are taking away the middle of the ice. Pettersson and Kane both look sluggish. Garland with a bad giveaway on the goal. But the forwards sometimes need to chip and chase and not carry it in every single time.

Well currently we don’t have one.

We have a guy who was…..and he’s paid like he is. But he hasn’t played like it for over 100 games.

Ffs only game 2 of the season and we're back to negative Nancy mode again here

Maybe it's just such a horrible contrast in this game.....watching McDavid and Draisaitl skate circles around the zone and be a threat to score every shift. Or maybe it's because there are probably 3 other players on the Oilers who are also carrying the puck with speed and forcing shifts in coverage.

It's only game 2 for them as well.

This game would be 6-0 right now if not for Demko. Our defense has not been bad, our forwards just haven't pushed the pace the other way at all.

Our top-6 forward group is looking like it might be bottom-5-10 in the league.
