Management made some decisions over the summer that I think they are regretting.
Both Zadorov and Cole would be improvements over any 4 of the guys we have right now.
Shots on goal in this one are deceptively lopsided. Wolf made a couple good saves, but we didn’t really test him, and there were next to no second shot opportunities of note.

Well, we will be starting 2025 outside of the playoff picture.
This is the team I expected last season…..battling for a WC spot and maybe pushing for 3rd in the Pacific.

A couple weeks ago the worry was that there was a rift in the room, at least they failed as a team tonight.

Happy New Year Folks. All the best - and hopefully a cup win for the team.

Missed this one and the Canada game, but this is a post I can get behind.
All the best in 2025.

Explain what they should have done.
"The baldies this and the baldies that"
I know they fucked up.
They do more good than bad. That's really all a fan can ask. Christ the Dude still whines about Gillis.
I would have retained Cole at two years. Ask Boston how they feel about Z. Cole was a leader. He wanted to be here and he is a ground much like Luke Schenn who should also perhaps be here. They'd calm down a lot of the shit. Bottom line is Peter and Miller have both stunk most of the year and Demko could be cooked. That's the main issue. Cole had a smashed ankle playing his offside in the 2nd round and people were burying the guy.

Christ, Buncha Eeyores around here. This team is, essentially Miller, Boeser and a supporting cast who is running against averages. This team is not out of it. They have 20 minutes to tie it up.
Yep... it's all the Baldies fault. Like FFS there is 1/3 of the payroll banged up. They have minimal depth and and anchor called OEL strangling 5 %of the payroll while playing for the Leaves.
Six fights and maybe 4 punches landed. What was the purpose of that nonsense? Brannstrom I understood. The rest of it was a pile of fluff.
A bounce here or there and it's a different game. 3 of your top 5 players missing and the other two scuffling.
The urine crew is armed and ready.

Explain what exactly?
Getting murdered with injuries to their best players??

Wouldn’t be the worst idea to give a couple games to the prospect defensemen in Abbotsford (Kudryavtsev, D-Pettersson, or McWard) and see how they look now. They definitely need some mobility on defence and an ability to consistently complete a first pass. I doubt there is much if any drop in ability if they sit a veteran or two as the kids get a cup of coffee while Hughes and Hronek are out, and the young guys might surprise to the upside. Kudryavtsev Is the leading point getting defensemen in Abbotsford right now.

Agree completely. Other than Myers, nobody can complete a 15 foot pass.
