The leaves are a cup contender and you guys are building around a second line centre. It's going to be very tough next few years for you guys. It's time to be realistic, look at the leaves roster and accept what is going to happen.

BTW, does Doc still think Andersen is horrible and overpaid? 5 Million in his prime years is looking pretty damn good right now. Looks like the leaves solves their goaltending issues. The Jets and Flames continue to fumble with it. The Flames get a 35 year-old whose stats have declined for 2 years. Good move...

The Habs are building around a 10.5 million goalie and the worst set of centres in the NHL. That won't get you anywhere. He had to stand on his head for them to squeak out a win over Buffalo.

The goaltending is average and the defence is below that.

The forwards however are top notch

Andersen's career #'s over 2 teams now is clearly above average.

No it wasn't anyone's Stanley Cup. Nice try you can do better than that. The leaves are still a very weak defensive team and won't make it very far in the post season. They are exciting but not real balanced. We know the Canucks suck , this ain't real cutting edge news here youngster.,
