Bovquist is on waivers . Picked right after Hughes. He might <cough> be an upgrade on our 3rd pairing. Kinda says how bad our D is.

Kuz has a history with Michkov (as HW states above).
Michkov and Torts at each other's throats last game.
This will be interesting....
How soon will both return to Russia? With Michkov refusing to return to NA until he is traded?
There certainly are no feuds and toxicity on any other professional sports teams than ours, right? Nothing in Boston, nothing in Philly. No yelling between teammates and coaches. Ever. We should bring Keenan back. It'll be so calm and peaceful. A veritable petunia garden.

For the Flames, it sucks losing Peltier, he was making an impact with the Flames, of late. Having said that, they acquire a natural centre in Frost and Farabee who will be in the top 6 on the Flames. Kuz was a fun player, but he won't be missed. the 2025 2nd round draft pick that the Flyers won't be a high 2nd rounder, and the Flames have acquired a lot of draft picks from their last years trades. The 7th rounder is just a throw in. So, all in all, I think this was a pretty good deal for the Flames.

A JimBro 2nd... Gits Deals Dun!TM
BCE, yeah, it looks to be a pretty decent deal for the Flamers. They can afford to take a gamble with all the picks accrued. Kind of like what the Canucks tried last season... except Conroy is paying a lot less. This might make it much harder for us to get a wildcard now.

I think if the Canucks can get out of their funk and make a trade for JT or Petey, they will have a better chance at making the playoffs. The only area where it seems the Flames have an advantage over the Canucks at the moment is in goal. Not sure what Demko's status is at the moment, but that also could potentially change.

This is the going rate for first-round picks? I guess the conditional pick from NYR wasn’t as valuable as I thought.

San Jose is loading up. Team of the future for sure. They’ll be bitch slapping the Canucks in 5/6 years.
Thank you Jim, thank you Patrick
