Ahem. You forgot budding superstar Linden Vey, 4th round pick in 2009Benjo wrote:Shall we compare our 2007-2010 record with LA and then cry for a while?
It says that Ron Delorme has naked pictures of somebody quite influential.ESQ wrote:Ahem. You forgot budding superstar Linden Vey, 4th round pick in 2009Benjo wrote:Shall we compare our 2007-2010 record with LA and then cry for a while?![]()
Seriously, what does it say that LA can trade a 4th rounders for a 2nd round pick?
Well gilly traded away a lot of picks in pursuit of a Stanley Cup championship, plus when he did draft he went after "talent" a lot like Ricky Schroeder, andBenjo wrote:If only the Canucks could draft half as well.
Thank goodness Gilman changed the structure in our scouting and draft strategies late in Gillis tenure (before he got let go), that coupled with Benning acquiring picks and all of a sudden our prospect cupboard is stacking up!under Gillis, the Canucks have leaned heavily on the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and Europe for draft picks, devoting 14 of their 30 selections to those areas the last five years.

Please stop reminding me about Kopitar.Blob Mckenzie wrote:Canucks 06 draft only produced the butter soft Michael Grabner so that can be lumped in as weak too . Even going back to 05 with the blunder of passing on Kopitar it appear as though management and the scouting staff was asleep at the wheel

Nothing similar imo, Hansen isn't that kind of player. He was legitimately going for the puck. Problem is, Hossa's had a history of concussions & a melon as durable as an egg. If it had been any other player on the receiving end ( other than Crosby) there's prob no suspension. I think he got one game.Hockey Widow wrote:ClamRussel wrote:Starting early. He made sure he got the head shot in. Just as bad as the Neal knee to the head I'd say. Went out of his way to accidentally on purpose get the head.
Didn't Hansen get 2 games for a somewhat similar play against Hossa?
Yo RD - what say you on this deal?SKYO wrote:Senators re-sign Bobby Ryan...

on hf it sounded like philly was sure they'd sign him as a FA, meh ha.
And sens name Erik Karlsson El Capitan
The guy only had a handful more goals that Chris Higgins and one more goal than Nick Bonino last season...calling the Ryan deal a massive overpayment would be an understatement.Reefer2 wrote:Yo RD - what say you on this deal?
$7.25 for a 50 - 60 point guy, and you think the Sedin's deal is bad????
Don't think you can reasonably make that comparisonherb wrote:The guy only had a handful more goals that Chris Higgins and one more goal than Nick Bonino last season...calling the Ryan deal a massive overpayment would be an understatement.Reefer2 wrote:Yo RD - what say you on this deal?
