Awful news. He was currently doing the Vegas/Utah series with Harnryan Singh and Dan Murphy. He didn't show for a guest appearance on Donnie and Dhali yesterday, apparenntly. Just a really good guy.

Sad news. I really enjoyed Cheech as a color man.

Cheech was awesome. I mean, the guy was good enough to land a gig on EA NHL, so you know it's not homerism talking.

He was missed when he left the Canucks broadcasts. He'll be more widely-missed now.

Sure he was a homer, but he was OUR homer. Media is running of out of true character guys.

Sad to hear. I still wonder why he was removed from our broadcast and I'm pretty sure he was removed/didn't elect to leave.
