Well that's the hype they're feeding you right?

Seems like yesterday you were promising Kessel, Phaneuf, et al were going to win a Cup.

Keep on keeping on dreaming dreams and slurping that blue koolaid....

Around and around and around we go!

That quote was in regards to a discussion of how old the leaves were. How is that even relavant to what I am saying?
Who is "Feeding Me Hype" exactly? Stats and facts are creating hype. The leaves are the first team in 36 years to have 3 60 point rookies. You're really trying to say the media is overhyping them? LOL.

The quote was a reminder of you bragging about the youth + talent of your team a decade ago.

(“around and around and around we go”)

The hype is the expected linear progression with which your koolaid is spiked.

We all know you are completely blind to the weaknesses of your team moving forward…

I love it when the teams lose.

I love the fact that TSN is losing all the hockey rights, they do not give a rats ass about any other city in the country except for the CFL.

You go onto that site and if a Laughs player has a pimple it is front page news.

I really hope the Laughs take a step back next year and not make the playoffs, not going to happen I know but damn that would be satisfying.

YES !

except I do enjoy me a CFL a game now and then ...

No that's not correct at all. I was stating statistically they weren't an "Old" team like what was stated. Not even close to this discussion at all.

All teams have weaknesses. But the leaves do have the best young team in the entire NHL.
Remember how Gardiner and Rielly were so bad you claimed? They were better than any Washington D in the first round.

Just going by facts. it's been decades since an NHL team had that many elite and strong rookies.
Connor Brown was their 4th best rookie forward. He scored over 20 goals. Think about that for a second.
But TSN is brainwashing me, right? The Buffalo Sabres is where it's at! What mediocre college player will they give up a draft pick for to play elsewhere this year?

Connor Brown is 23 years old.

Every team has players in that age group scoring at that pace.

(hell, Canucks have 2 in Baer + Granlund and no one around here bats an eye)

(Horvat too of course but eyes are batted because of his overall awesomeness)

All you have is the 3 young forwards and who knows how they will do next year.

And 3 players does not a team make... honey! (with apologies to the Fonz)

Yours is a run-n-gun team so a little shit like Brown can pot 20 easily

... and now your team can overpay him thanks to that run-n-gun style.

The Cock and the Lamb have stated they need to get away from all that run-n-gun moving forward btw.

UMMM... you have to have a brain before you can be brainwashed.

The leaves had the best offensive depth in the entire NHL. No, they are not dependant on 3 players. They had the most 60 point and 50 point players of any team. They had a 60 point player on all of their top 3 lines. You are wrong.

And Connor Brown was selected in the 6th round. Do you really expect a 6th rounder to crack the NHL at 19? I'm not sure what the point is that he is 23. It does not matter one bit. Brown will be a great, cheap supporting guy to give the leaves great depth for a long time. Every team has 23 year olds scoring 20 goals, but do they have 3 elite forwards at 19 and 20 scoring 60+ points as rookies? No, 0 teams have that besides the leaves. You just don't know what it takes to build a team in 2017. You still think teams are built from the net out? LOL. The top goalies have 0 cup rings.

And just to clarify, Brown's 21 goals would have been tops on the Canucks. That's more goals than your star centre, Bo Horvat (Who you've claimed is just as good as Matthews). So no, you don't have guys like Brown.

And the leaves are not a "Run N Gun" team at all. Check the numbers. They're a very strong analytical team with good possession numbers. (You know, the opposite of the Avs-The example you provided saying the leaves will be like them).

Regardless of his point total and the fact he is blessed with tremendous hockey skill, if you don't take Kadri out of the mix, as it were, I foresee many bright young futures pulverized by the wrath of a little thing called, "The Code".

I never want to see Kadri go. 4.5 million for a 30 goal, 60 point two-way centre in his prime? Never move those guys.

But of course Doc feels Kadri should be getting about 2 million per season. He knows his stuff.

You miss the point. If an angry hockey player cannot retaliate directly with the perpetrator, in the heat of the moment, an Austiln or a Willie or a Mitch could fall victim to ire.
Not saying it's right, just that it happens. Is it worth it ?

The leaves who were slammed out of the first round led the league this season in shots against. Yeah, real superstars Reilly and Gardiner. Does Tuna realize they can't play defence

Team Smurf. The leaves will probably draft Yamamoto in the first round. LOL

The Pens have had Matt Cooke during the Crosby/Malkin years and they turned out fine. I don't see anyone hurting the leaves stars because of Kadri. There are controversial pests on almost every team. Kadri is a very valuable piece. You don't get better moving him or closer to a cup.

If Toronto is Team Smurf what does that make Vancouver?

Team Elf or Team Midget ?
