Feel bad for Hagel, this guy does not deserve to lose. The give a shit meter's always on high even on that empty netter.
Kuch was kinda the opposite with a lot of casual, careless plays that cost them valuable possession.
Next round should be fun with Canada's Team vs Canada's Team.

Good Western Canadian kid.
Drafted late and made a solid career for himself.
See that AIG????

Copy/paste for Stankoven (minus the drafted late part).
But only a few spots after the big useless Belarussian.
Did JB/AIG not know Kamloops is only a few hours drive, fucking hell!

Hughes putting on a show.
On one hand it's kinda nice the hockey world is witnessing what we've been touting for years.
On the other it sucks the reminder the show is over here and he's doing it for someone else now.

10 goals already in 2 periods. What a fun contrast from the TB/MTL series, which was also fun from an intensity standpoint. But this one is wide open, end-to
-end chances at all times with a TON of skill. It's basically a high stakes all star game.

Definitely did not think this was what we would see from these two teams.

It is a fun game to watch. Just two heavy-weights just throwing haymakers.
Watching Hughes this playoffs just reminds me of what we were destined not to have. I'm sure the kids and whoever the team drafts with Minny's pick will play more NHL games in Vancouver and may help Vancouver get out of the basement a couple years from now - even if they'll never form any contending core in the team's future. But they'll never be able to do what Hughes is doing out there right now.

Crazy hockey for sure.
Kadri with a goal, and is a -3, in a game where your team scores 7 so far.
Some nuts stats all around.

6 goals for Minny. Hughes has 3 points.
No other Dmen have points.
10 forwards have 1 points each.

Loved this game within a game.
Cale missed most of the 1st period while Quinn stole the show early.
He comes back and says hold my beer. What a fucking player! I love this kid. So nice to be on the Canadian's side of Cale v Quinn for a change. Quinn had a whale of a game and still ended up second best tonight. Incredible stuff.
